This actually makes sense in your head?
Wow.
So you're saying that "ho" is used to describe both males and females in the vernacular? That "ho" is completely ambiguous?
Wow.
Just... wow.
I'm speechless.
Etymology: alteration of whore
slang : WHORE 1
1 : a woman who engages in sexual acts for money : PROSTITUTE; also : a promiscuous or immoral woman
2 : a male who engages in sexual acts for money
Wipe the drool off your face and pay attention.
Ho
Whore
So you did not know which definition is most used in the vernacular? Which one most people that hear the term think of? How the term is most used contextually?
Haha. That's pathetic.
You're not even making sense anymore. Not that you ever did, mind you.
WHORE:

Whore
The comment was made to a group of women, so definition 1 applies. In reality, if it's a man, most use the term "man-whore".
Oh, yes, but this is DON IMUS we're talking about! Surely the context must automatically shift to #2 because Dustin's a fan!
That's how reality works. *nods*
What do you know from reality? you've still not graduated yet.

Have both of you run completely out of arguments? How sad.
We still haven't gotten to, "I know you are, but what am I?![]()
Nonono, you got it wrong.
I have the bigger penis.

Yes, because this was much more mature.

Dustin said:Just because you insult a woman doesn't mean your insult is necessarily sexist. If I call a woman "fat" it is insulting but not 'sexist'. Why? Because both men and women can be fat. If I call a woman a 'ho' it is insulting but not sexist. Why? Both men and women can be ho's and it is thus sexually ambiguous.
Ah yes, how nice it must be to live in a world completely seperated from reality.
Please start paying attention. I've already explained this.

Because of the broad use of dictionaries, and their acceptance by many as language authorities, their treatment of the language does affect usage to some degree, even the most descriptive dictionaries providing conservative continuity. In the long run, however, usage primarily determines the meanings of words in English, and the language is being changed and created every day. As Jorge Luis Borges says in the prologue to "El otro, el mismo": "It is often forgotten that (dictionaries) are artificial repositories, put together well after the languages they define. The roots of language are irrational and of a magical nature."
They had arguments?
