I've always felt most rappers are incredibly stupid. Now thanks to pagan I have evidence.
Thats it, I'm convinced. Inside jawb.
If eminem and Mos Def says so, it has to be true, it just HAS to be true.
Also, isn't the term "n!gga" what one black man would say to another in jest? Since when did Bush become black? I guess that Mos Def is about as observant of Bush's skin colour as he is about 9.11.
Jadakiss doesn't really believe Bush ordered the towers destroyed -- he says the line is a metaphor, and that Bush should take the blame for the terrorist attack because his administration didn't do enough to stop it.
"They didn't follow up on a lot of things properly," says Jadakiss. "It's the president of the United States. The buck stops with him."

Wait, what are you saying here? That a Truther misinterpreted something? Cherry picked a few lines that he thought sounded good for his theory and ignored the context?
That can't be right. Not our potential pulitzer prize winning Pagan...
Brainache: Wait, what are you saying here? That a Truther misinterpreted something? Cherry picked a few lines that he thought sounded good for his theory and ignored the context?
Correct. greyleonard messed it up. Wrong song.
Woah, again.
1. I'm not a Truther
2. Jadakis is on record saying that he doesn't believe bush directed the towers to be destroyed. The interview I linked to was discussing a different song, but the same topic.
3. We can't take lyrics of songs as declarations of the artist's "real life" feelings.
Fallacious appeal to authority.A jazzy beat with a message for you true believers to dig.

ad 1: But you obviously like quote-mining. Where is Brainache's "That can't be right. Not our potential pulitzer prize winning Pagan..."?
ad 2: You said: "Don't be misled by pagan's ignorant marketing of the song - it's not saying what he thinks it does."
ad 3: I don't know about Mos Def (i'm absolutely not into HipHop) but i listened to enough Immortal Technique songs (two or three) to know his "feelings" about 9/11.
You gotta be kidding me.
The wording of your reply, "Correct. greyleonard messed it up. Wrong song...." indicates that you were affirming Brainache's rhetorical question, but mistaking me for a Truther & someone who cherry picked lines to avoid dealing with their context. It appeared that you were the one who didn't notice that Brainache was referring to Pagan.
My supplying a link to the full lyrics of the OP song and linking to an interview in which the artist states his actual feelings about the issue doesn't support your assertion that I "obviously like quote-mining", does it? My limited quote of Brainache's post didn't change the intended meaning of his post at all.
Sorry if I misunderstood your initial reply.
Pagan misled noone.
You misled Brainache.
AND you misunderstood my reply. Now get over it. Gee...![]()
