Also, isn't the term "n!gga" what one black man would say to another in jest? Since when did Bush become black? I guess that Mos Def is about as observant of Bush's skin colour as he is about 9.11.

Don't be misled by pagan's ignorant marketing of the song - it's not saying what he thinks it does.

Jadakiss doesn't really believe Bush ordered the towers destroyed -- he says the line is a metaphor, and that Bush should take the blame for the terrorist attack because his administration didn't do enough to stop it.

And I'll go on record saying that Mos Def is definitely not stupid and does not think Bush was responsible for 9/11 in the way that pagan would have us believe.

Gross generalization. Actually, most rappers that aren't JUST rapping about bitch's and hoe's ARE fairly intelligent and have lots of interesting lyrics.
 
The new Roots album is excellenttt. Black Thought is one of the most intelligent ones. I'm tired of the money/bitch rappers, but fortunately we have many alternatives to choose from.
 
I fell in love with the film Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (yes I know the book's better, save your keystrokes), and in turn Mos Def as an actor. I thought he was brilliant as Ford Prefect. I'm not a fan of hip hop, and I was actually shocked to discover the guy who played Ford was actually a rapper. I just thought he was an exceptional comedic actor. To learn that he's also a hip hop legend only adds to my respect for him and his abilities. No, I wouldn't put the word "stupid" anywhere near Mos Def's name.

Oh, did I mention I'm lilly white?

2. Jadakis is on record saying that he doesn't believe bush directed the towers to be destroyed. The interview I linked to was discussing a different song, but the same topic.
3. We can't take lyrics of songs as declarations of the artist's "real life" feelings.

Wrong song...." indicates that you were affirming Brainache's rhetorical question, but mistaking me for a Truther & someone who cherry picked lines to avoid dealing with their context. It appeared that you were the one who didn't notice that Brainache was referring to Pagan.

 My supplying a link to the full lyrics of the OP song and linking to an interview in which the artist states his actual feelings about the issue doesn't support your assertion that I "obviously like quote-mining", does it?
