April 2007 Stundie Nominations

Hello all, and welcome to the start of the April nominations!

Due to some worries about the way The Stundies could be prone to diving off the deep end, I'm going to trial some basic rules for this month:

  1. Nominations should always be accompanied by a link or a screenshot, to confirm that the quote exists and has not been taken out of context. (It would be wise to always have a backup screenshot, as truth movement forums are well known for deleting entire threads.)
  2. Stundie nominations should 'stand alone'. Do not over-embellish introductions, but do provide comments. Do not use any blatant ad hominem attacks.
  3. Please post the nomination under the real screenname of the nominee, and not under a slightly altered name (e.g. Killclown, Roxpup, Do-over).
  4. The best Stundie nominations are short and sweet. As a guideline, no more than 6 lines should be included from the post. If you are giving context, highlight the actual nomination.
  5. No long rants. Cut them down to the funniest bit.
  6. No speeling mistikes. Everybody makes a mistake once in a while!






If I have forgotten anything that was discussed, let me know and it can be added to the list.

Other than that little bit of housekeeping - let the fun begin!
 
I don't know if there is a "lifetime achievement award" but if there is I nominate this one...

Let's forget Blanchard's paper which says there is no evidence of Controlled Demolition. It's obvious he never bothered to contact Blanchard and was quote mining. The real deceptive part is the characterization of this debris.

Next to this photo is this:

Large pieces of debris, likened to meteorites by preservationists, are actually several floors of the towers compressed together as the buildings collapsed. Furniture, twisted metal, pipes, cords and even papers with legible type are visible. The pieces are kept in a humidity-controlled tent in Hangar 17 of Kennedy International Airport.

That's a very sad, troubling thread. They're urging each other to sacrifice lives, friends and family for the Cause. I used to think the truth movement attracted crazies, but it also seems to be sucking all the functionality out of otherwise level-headed people.

I find it odd that they have the nerve to tell Lucas that it was part of god's plan to remove her from his life saving him from a lie with her. Funny but they never answered my question about how we know it wasn't god getting Lucas out of her life :)

For the love of god yes, unless you are referring to a video that I haven't seen, every single plane strike video with any sort of decent quality shows absolutely no interesting anomalies and looks (as painful as this is to say) just like an everyday plane hitting an everyday building.

As a supplementary point I bring into context eyewitness statements, with only a few ambiguous reports the majority of eyewitnesses describe a large commercial airliner hitting the towers, followed by a large explosion.
