I don't know which I like better, the suggestion that Hugo Chavez fund it or that the MythBusters do it.

Someone else in that thread linked that jet crash in Amsterdam that took out the middle of a long/wide apartment building. I can't get over how many twoofers can't see the difference between a wide building whose height is much smaller than its width and a really tall building whose height is much greater than its width.
 
The Discovery Channel is in on the conspiracy too, making shows featuring Controlled Demolitions Inc. so that people will have a favorable view of said company and not realize that it was also a prime contractor for the conspiracy.

Because, you know, there hasn't been any inflation in the past 40 years or anything, and buildings cost the same now as they did in 1967. Besides, it's not like $300 million is a lot of money anyway, to put into something you're going to intentionally demolish.
 
already, the US is borrowing money at the rate of $20,000 a second! Paying taxes means nothing to them. Also, this poster makes me feel bad for being Iranian

Actually, I forgot about the price of the 767 airliner they have to fly into it. What do those go for nowadays?

And which truther is going to volunteer for that job? Unless they plan on doing it with remote control . . . wouldn't that be interesting.

I'm surprised that none of the Junior Mr. Wizard Club over there has tried crashing an aluminum model plane into a steel fence to "prove" that aluminum can't go through steel and therefore there were no planes/there were planes with missile pods/there were planes helped out by missiles fired from elsewhere/Killtown and Christophera's brains have solid concrete cores.

Maybe we can get the paper-skyscraper-building guy to fold paper airplanes and throw them at his paper tower.

To be fair, there is some validity in that statement. Reason I say this is that the Commission report, etc, are a bit of a junction between science and law. In science, to disprove a theory (say evolution) you have to present a competing theory that explains more/better than the existing one. In law though, a defense attorney does not need to show who is guilty, only that their client is not.

Now, the problem with their thinking is that, say they show conclusive, objective, verifiable proof of explosives being used in bringing down the towers; they then make the jump and assume that the Commission report, et al, are Lies and that the gov't did a cover-up, etc; whereas what it means is that the statements in the report showing no explosives are wrong (either intentionally or accidentally) and that some party planted the explosives and further investigation is needed to determine who it was.
