You're a little boy who believes in fairies. You want to talk about the big fairy, go to a christian site. You want to have it pointed out to you why you're a little weakling in need of the crutch, carry on.

Measure, schmeasure. You can take the argument round in any fraction of pi you like, your argument is so weak my four year old would pull holes in it. You dozy christians haven't even got past answering Genesis 3:4 yet, never mind measures.

Seriously, is it too much to ask that the fundie trolls learn some language skills? Is english not taught at bible camp? You will be judged on your posts for your language skills and one of the fastest way to be written off by most people is to show that you have no significant ability to communicate. Yes, it is a sign of intelligence to be able to communicate people! And no, I do not think that is a meaningless nitpick. Reading threads like this you fundie trolls come off like 13 year olds debating PhD's. Have some self respect and please debate with intelligence and class.

Ahh the groupies are grouping together because they have nothing intelligent to say... but then again with a FAITH of nothingness, one would expect nothing from what they write.

But when in their group packs they will name call like the churchies and scribes and pharisees because they are not use to using their brains nor their individuality to do anything. They need each others support.

In person they would never call me a boy, so only in their safe havens in cyberspace would they dare call me names.

But at least I can see they will nto discuss anything but resort to name calling., just like the religionists.

There have only been 67 certified miracles at Lourdes in the past 200 years - how's a god capable of only one miracle every three years or so going to be able meet that request?

No. They don't. There is no logical reason to round pi down to 3. One would measure the diameter and measure the circumference. You suggested that perhaps the numbers were a diameter of 9.7 and a circumference would be 30.473448. To the nearest cubit that would be 10 and 30. However, to the nearest half cubit (as is used in other places in the Bible), that would be 9.5 and 30.5. There is no rational defense of 10 and 30.

If you are looking for respect, then feel free to answer any of the dozens of questions raised in the previous 21 pages on this thread. A wide vareity of posters have pointed out numerous errors. If you are prepared to argue in favor of the inerrancy of the Holy Bible, respond to the previously raised questions. If you are not prepared to do that then quit complaining if people call you names in this thread.

ETA: If you don't have time to read the previous 21 pages, feel free to start a new thread about how the mile is a sacred measurement. I'm sure the posters here would love to discuss the matter.

The key here is that the Egyptians could calculate pi to an arbitrary number of significant digits(Beckmann, A History of Pi, 1971, Golem Press), and the Hebrews had come from bondage in Egypt, where it can be resonably assumed that they were involved in the construction projects that the Egyptians planned using their geometric knowledge. The bible was apparantly written for Hebrews not conversant with the math they had used as slaves.
 
Can you substantiate the claim that the Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians with any source other than the bible?
