Having seen Amazing Jonathan live, I have to say I absolutely adore his show. It's cute, it's funny, and even if he is terrible at giving interviews (i.e. says he will to a budding journalist and then never replies again), he's great at entertaining.
We went with my sister and her at the time date (my sister and those she dates tend to have very different sensibilities than my husband and me) and we ALL enjoyed it and got a kick out of his way of showing the humor inherent in well done magic and mucking it up making it all the more humorous.
I have to admit all of this is making me really regret not seeing Banachek. We went to Julia Sweeney and Jill Sobule and Penn & Teller (dark EVERY single time we've been to LV so we weren't missing them this time) instead. Now I'm going to be kicking myself incredibly. And buying his DVDs.
