Post your TAM5 Photos!

ON PCs, right click, then select 'save picture as' and then save it wherever, rename it as you please.

I don't know Mac.

Thanks... Got it. The kodak site was acting weird and forwarding the slideshow on whenever I tried to save a photo. I figured it out now. Thanks!

To this I must add ~
Geek Goddess,
In another thread, or earlier in this thread, you posted something about how you didn't photo well... I haven't seen a bad picture of you yet!
You're as lovely in person as you are in photographs.

I'm sorry here but I have to take issue with this post. While I agree that Melissa (whom I assume you are speaking of) is a very attractive lady, even radiant with her bright smile, I am going to have to say the following: I do not like the use of the term "dog" as the ultimate incarnation of undesirable or ugliness.

If I could find a woman who had the loyalty, stability, nobelity and other qualities of a dog, I would be very happy. Actually, there are few, if any, human men who would have these qualities. While I am not attracted to dogs (in *that* way), I still do not see them as undesirable or ugly creatures.

While a human should not look like a dog, because we are different species, would that a human could capture the nobel duty and dignity of the canine.

Also... why would you call an ugly woman a dog and an attractive woman a fox? The fox is a member of the canine family, and there are some dogs which bare a strong resemblance to a fox, especially at a distance...

A dog woman would not be pretty.

And here is the origin of the word "foxy" which is, now that I read into it more deeply BULLS**T! Grrr...I can't believe I fell for it, but since I typed this much I'm posting it.

Not referring to a fox itself but is instead to young and beautiful women. Duriving from the ancient British word of Foxismonitism, meaning attractive or sexually appealing, has evolved along the years to become a more well known, and someone slang word, foxy.

It's from the Urban Dictionary entry for "foxy."

THat's correct, I generally don't, but I think I gave him permission for that photo.

Of course, I was a bit drunk, so it's probably a good thing that he didn't take me at my word.

I'll just add them back in to the photo album. They are good photos!

If you want the higher resolution photos, Kitten, just PM me your email. I have an email for you from a year ago, but I'm not sure if it's still good or not.

Buzzo, Duppyraces' avatar is her little dog. All the comments were play on avatars or forum names. Let it go....

ETA: and it's not polite to use somebody's real name in a post unless they sign their name, or use their name as their forum name. Just sayin...

Inside joke, Doc. Check out Duppyraces' avatar. I beleive that is-or was-her pooch. (And if you want to read about how dogs triumph over mankind read "City" by Simak.)

Oh dammit! I'm sorry. I'm an absent-minded physics-type... oblivious to surroundings. Even moreso at TAM. Totally worthless and wandering aimlessly in a sober daze. And I just don't expect anyone to call out my forum name, so the sound probably went right through me. show.:D

Well, at least you weren't walking through a crowded casino, and when hearing someone scream out "Geek!" know that you were being hailed.

Thanks so much for this pic.

I made the mistake of sending it to my parents, so they could see I went someplace, had a good time, met new people.

My mom, the Baptist fuddy-duddy deluxe, of course focuses on two things, immediately:

"What is that brown bottle you're holding?"

Mom, it's a glass of wine. It's a party. Sheesh. Can't I be 50 without answering to my mother???

"That's a nice-looking man next to you" (She worries I'm going to die alone)

"Mom, that's the Scrutinizer, he's 15 years my junior, and he molests small farm animals for a hobby"

Moms. Can't live with them, can't stick them in a nursing home.

Well a man's got to have a hobby! :p

Sorry I couldn't for the life of me remember what name she posts under, so I just put the first name. That was what ame to mind. I remember it was something odd. Sorry.

My point is this: Saying a woman is like a dog should be a compliment if saying she is like a flower is a compliment. If one is to say something like that then obviously it is not literal. I don;t think a very thin women with green skin and a face made of pollen anthers with petals around it is really my idea of attractive. I simply dislike the idea of one being compared to a dog being a negative connotation.

He wasn't saying 'she isn't ugly like a dog', he was saying 'she doesn't look like her avatar, which is a really cute Chihuahua-something' Nothing about comparing women to dogs, dogs to women, nothing. It's too inside. Let it go......................

OK. In hell now. At least you'll know where to find me should you ever care to look. I'll just sit here and contemplate my (flame-engulfed) navel. :(

Still though, when I dance, I put on much more of a video-worthy show.:D

Hey, I called "Phyz" too and you didn't respond. What is your real name again? I couldn't think of it--and one can only imagine what opportunities you may have lost in your absent-minded-professor reverie. tsk
