LC:FC in PREproduction for over 1 year?!

Unless a special waiver is granted, films must comply with the following conditions in order to be selected:
  • have been made during the 18 months preceding the Festival;
  • have not been presented at major international festivals;
  • not exceed 60 minutes in running-time.
N.B.: Documentaries are not accepted.

a) Loose Change Final Cut wasn't actually in production all that time ago when we were told it was.

b) Loose Change Final Cut is under 60 minutes long

c) Loose Change Final Cut is not, in fact, a documentary. But rather a fiction film.

Odd...

Edit: sorry, it says that he's going to Cannes...

Dont know why he would go...he's going to be surrounded by a bunch of french snobs who hate americans.

They sell films there, it's a market of sorts. Companies always package a dog, with more lucrative ventures, to help the bottom line. I see LC FC as a direct to vid, overseas hit. Sad, but true, damn foreigners! Still ain't buying it though. We shall see...

well, at least we know all that money they earned is going to pay for his trip to France...wow...that is real nice

So , as of this date, how much hast LTW donated to the memorial/victims/families of 9/11?

So far as I can tell, they haven't donated a dime. But according to Bermass, they've made enough that he hasn't had to work since last February. Mind you, they are boys of simple minds and simple means and they all live together in a rather crappy looking place, so they probably haven't made much on paper. The money they fleece from those they con into buying their crappy dvds and tee shirts and such is probably undeclared, mind you, and could be considered somewhat lucrative for kids with low standards and no moral compass.

How long will it last?

I don't know what the "maximum" might be, or if there is one. I know that theaters sometimes show the same movie on more than one screen, but that's usually reserved for the biggest of blockbusters. I have serious doubts that LC:FC will get on three screens, much less 3,000.

Even being generous and saying EVERY multiplex showing LC was running it in three cinemas from the one print (HIGHLY UNLIKELY) that's still 1000 prints, at about $10,000 a print. So he needs $10 million just for the cost of producing the actual physical prints. Then there's postage to get them to the theatres, which is NOT cheap, unless he intends to hand deliver all 1,000.

'Then there's postage to get them to the theatres, which is NOT cheap, unless he intends to hand deliver all 1,000.'

I think that might cost a lot more lol.

3000 my ass.

If they get to 3 cinemas...I'll be shocked...let alone 3000.

It apparently has been deleted, after they discussed the danger of having a Jewish producer.

Read and enjoy ...
I have been a bad little enigma. They deleted the thread and I started a new one thanking them for answering before they deleted the thread. They deleted that thread also :)

"JREF. Y'all are a bunch of %ucking losers. You can quote me on that.
Everyone else, move on to more important things."

Dylan is having problems keeping his fraud under control.

Dylan, go ahead and make money on a fraud called 9/11 truth! If your audience is dumb enough to pay to see lies why should you worry!

Because not everyone is as dumb as he thinks.

Dylan is going to have a tough time breaking it to them that they aren't going to get into any theatres.

As Avery's foul language is a clear breach of LC forum rules, I shall be forced to nip over there and send a strongly-worded note of protest to the moderators.

Thanks for saving the thread Firestone. I'm particularly pleased that my 6 seconds of investigation (2x 3 second shifts) has provoked the contempt of Mr Avery.

Good job, JREF. You dug up an IMDB page. Feel better now about yourselves?

Funny how he complains that our research was laughably easy, yet none of his flock of disciples managed to pull it off themselves. It seems they prefer instead to speculate about Universal being involved, simply because the word appears on the same page.

I can't see it.. QuickSharing isn't working for me.

But anyway, it's obvious that Dylan is fast losing control over there, and he's getting testy about it. Hence the banning of anyone who dares question the Fearless Leader. Soon, he'll be surrounded by a few hardcore sycophants, just like many major Hollywood producers. Trouble is, he can't put his movie in cinemas because of a) legal questions, b) distribution questions, and c) the JREF army waiting to pounce on his newest creation.

It amuses me that despite the supposed might of the CIA, FBI, NSA, and other covert operations of the NWO, the acronym that strikes the most fear in Dylan's heart is JREF.

Mr. Randi, you should be proud of your forum. We've got the woowoos on the run.

I could go as far and say that Dylan is simply a pussy :D, but I won't say it because it's more complicated than that. I'm really starting to think that he's seeing the light and he's just telling us all to leave him alone and he will slowly get there! Then again, this is Dylan Avery we're talking about...

Given that Dylan is now claiming that his "over 3000" U.S. screens figure was not a target for opening but rather total screens, let's revisit Fahrenheit 9/11's numbers:

Opening weekend: 868 screens
2nd weekend: 1725 screens
3rd weekend: 2004 screens
4th weekend: 2004 screens
5th weekend: 1855 screens
and the numbers continued to decline in subsequent weeks

Dylan, the most widely-screened documentary in history maxxed out at 2004 U.S. screens. What makes you think your film will succeed better by half?

edit: Another interesting number--An Inconvenient Truth, a well-received and popular film with a lot of above-ground buzz, maxxed out at 587 screens U.S.
America: Freedom to Fascism?--10 screens total
