Call for an independent Inquiry (wtf?)

Hi!

In another thread a post came up with a quote from a truther from another board saying:

Our objective is to open a new, impartial, and independent inquiry

I've heard this claim a number of times, and if taken at face value it would mean this is the main objective of the entire truther-movement. But still I never understood what on earth would be accepted by them as a truly "independent" inquiry?

Since they reject NIST it cant be governement funded (should private companies pay? What companies would be considered "independent"?)

It cant use scholars from well-known universities

As I see it it cant use a lot of classified materials - since that would require involvement/and or cooperation with policing organsations such as the FBI. Or would you have to make new laws that gives non-government bodies the right to access secret material (such as possible privacy-infringing footage from security cameras)?


I dont get it. Anyone here can think of how such an inquiry would be composed?

I don't think the Twoofies would be satisfied with any inquiry unless they conducted it. They're just looking for some validation for their tinhat theories. And, since none of them have any idea how to conduct any sort of inquiry that doesn't involve Youtube, it's unlikely that anything they (or their proxy "scientists") did would have any kind of merit.
 
Tell you what......obviously everything American will be unacceptable to them, so I'll do it! What's the pay like?

No pay, that would make you "dependent". ;)

But seriously, aren't there any "truther" here on this board who could elaborate on this? (Perhaps someone active on the Loose Change boards could tell them about this thread?)

I would imagine that they would object to just about any qualified technical advisers sitting on the inquiry panel.
 
Given the way they "debunked" the Popular Mechanics article ("Chertoff"), an additional conditions for the independent inquirers would be that they can't have the same name as someone connected to the government, FBI, CIA, FAA, NIST, NORAD, FDNY, NYPD, Mossad, AA, UA, NTSB, CFR, ...

And no Jewish names preferably ...

You're right, SLOB. The call for a "impartial and independent inquiry" can never be fullfiled.

Almost certainly. But if a real investigation were somehow done, it would find that 9/11 was not an inside job--like every investigation which had been done so far.

The Truthers would then condemn it as a whitewash and go on weaving their fantasies. The poor guys have no idea how stupid they are.

This is twoofer speak for we have not got a clue. When ever they are faced with a questions that shows the fundamental flaw in their BS they say this. When faced with very simple questions like.

“So what happened to the people onboard Flight 77?" or “what happened to the people onboard Flight 93?" or even “So who planted all the explosives inside the Towers?". The Ct answer is simple.

“That’s why we need a new, impartial and independent inquiry".

It allows them to live in their fantasy land, making up rubbish and saying whatever they like, because it is not their fault, it is somebody else’s fault, i.e. the USG.

It is beyond their grasp that there as already been an impartial, independent investigation.

I just wished one or two truthers could step forward and specify. Since this apparently is the primary, and only, goal with all their "just asking questions", their boards should be filled with discussions on how to iron out a truly independent inquiry. Answering this thread should be a breeze.

Re:paying for it by private companies. I find it difficult to believe any rational company would consider paying for such a pointless project - wasting funds is bad for bottom lines!!

Or the answer is, "I don't know, I'm not one of the conspirators."
 
I think that what they mean by "independent" is people of their ilk, namely human waste lacking the sufficient interpersonal skills for work in sanitation, and the necessary spatial reasoning and knowledge of physics for the wearing of shoes with laces.

Sadly I don't see such an investigation contributing anything more than its collective biomass to humanity.

Problem, for them, there isn't agreement around the "movement" on who to trust. I've seen numerous claims that Alex Jones is a "NWO disinfo agent", Steven Jones and James Fetzer are at each others neckes etc.

So that would pretty much put them back to square one, what is a truly independent inquiry.

Point 1 is perhaps badly worded (noone doubts that a crime was committed on 9/11), but to be fair to Jones, the context of the article makes his meaning clear.

So he calls for a new official investigation, but only after solid evidence is found. I hate to say it, but I agree. Of course, noone has found that solid evidence so far, certainly not Jones.

I ask Twoofers all the time WHO should investigate 9/11; WHO would they trust.

I never get any names. Why? Because if they name names and those people end up backing the official story....well what would they do then?

Basically the Twoofers want an investigation staffed by the likes of Jones and Griffin....but they're too chicken to admit it.
 
And how would they even begin conducting this "investigation" when the Twoof movement is as divided as it is?

No-planers, C4, thermite, cargo planes, remote control, patsies, laser beams, MIHOP, LIHOP....where would they even begin?

The whole thing would soon degenerate into civil war.
