You do realise that when you fail (as you will in the extremely unlikely event that you turn up for a test) we are going to take you to pieces very publicly?
On the other hand, if you manage what you say, you'll be a filthy rich international megastar!
Due to commitments we were unable to agree on including ourselves for testing with Gulliver. This is unfortunate but we will still be attending the appropriate arrangement for tests with Australian Skeptics in February.
Sorry, mate, but no way.I don't think thats fair - if he does actually show up for a test, he'll be worthy of, and given, much respect.
If he fails (and comes back to talk aboot it) he'll be treated very gently with lots of people on-hand to offer consolation and, more importantly, advice and help to understand why his 'powers' didn't work. (By which I mean offering non-woo explanations for the feelings and effects, rather than the usual cop-outs such as "gold leaf on the books" and so forth)

Dargo, as you probably now know, Randi will change the nature of his challenge on April 1st. After that date, you will no longer be eligible to apply because you will not meet the "media profile" requirement. But the old rules will be in effect until April. Given this, can/will you apply for Randi's challenge before April?
If Dargo is, as he claims, preparing for a test with a recognised skeptical society in Australia, we should await the results of that before we condemn him further, should we not?
However, waiting for Dargo to successfully complete his testing in Australia will be a long wait, indeed.

As in "don't hold your breath." The same goes for any application to the JREF. I certainly don't expect one to be forthcoming...ever. However, I consider this badgering of potential applicants to be no more than pounding one's head against a wall. I far prefer to wait until such time as Dargo either fails an official test, or fails to show up for one, and then call him out for what he is.
Who cares?
