As most of the readers within this Subform know, you
will earn a Badge if you get banned at Loose Change
for no fair reason.

The "Shrinker Ban Award" is a pretty old tradition here
so i thought it might be the time for an official speech
for the award ceremony - something short, serious, may-
be funny and personal that shows how ceremonial this
tradition is in here.

If someone has a good idea for a short speech, i
would appreciate it very much because my english
sucks. :D

ETA: For example:

keep up the fine work, and wear your badge
proudly so everyone can see that you are on
the upward trail.​

Shrinker is the member who invented the Badge
and gave me the honor to manage the awards
during his absence. :)

at the Loose Change Board. Or in other words:
Whoever of our JREF/CT members gets banned
for no good reason.

I see now. I was confused by the Shrinker part. So now I shall give my speech.

I would like to thank IVXX, dylan avery, and any of the other admins on the Loose Change Board for their fear of having too many skeptics debunking them at once. I would also like to thank paranoia for making this possible.

I never got the badge for the original board; I might have been a member (and banned) from the LC forum before being a member over here. I got the usual ban for failing to react properly to the Franklin sex scandal that the Quest used to test people. The funny part was that both JamesB and I were invited over to the forum by the confident Loosers of the time who thought that Loose Change had zero errors in it. Anybody remember those days? We (big we, not SLC) have succeeded in that regard!

I have never regged for the new Looser board. I appreciate those who have and who've been carrying the fight over there; after the experience with the orginal mods I would have thought everybody from here would be banned after a week anyway. Dylan is maturing/mature compared to a lot of the folks over at his board. He's still a 23-year old kid, but he's not an immature 23-year-old. He does seem to be aware that he's got a lot of responsibility and he does not embrace that fully--hence the effort to slough the researcher role off onto Bermas.

This also sounds like a honorable ban and certainly deserves
a Badge - even if i don´t have any more LCF v1.0 Badges
in reserve. :(

I give you the new Badge until i find one of the old Badges.

What if you were banned 3 times and censored in between at the old LCF? Do I qualify?
