Uri Geller Caught Cheating Live on Air!!

By the way, Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees is going to be a guest next week on the show. I saw an interview with him where he says that he believes Geller is real, so it only goes to show that also intelligent people can fall for that stuff.

What makes you think he's intelligent? ;)
You're right of course. I think Randi often stresses the difference between being intelligent and being smart.

using IE7, I can view other videos on the site, but not that one.

Is the video listed on any of the tabs? Then we might be able to navigate to it.

OK, got it now. It's the rightmost tab, top video of the three, the one with the red and green balls in.

The Relevant time period is from 4 minutes into the clip.

I suspect that if you are a Geller believer, then you'd not be looking out for that kind of action.

It's horrible what's going on here. Most of the participants are known as magicians that belong to the Magic Organization, but they are breaking the ethical thing of hinting they have powers. The thing is that don't say it openly all the time, but because it's a show about Geller and becoming his heir, then people naturally think that's how they describe themselves.

So all the papers once in awhile explain that it's all "fake", there was even a big article in the paper today that the guest stars that appear on the show write down stuff before, so now everyone thinks it's all a setup. Some people in the organization are against their friends that appear on the show, and one of them even quit the organization because the people that run it don't do anything to stop the ethical ussue.

What a big mess only because of Geller. Why couldn't he just stay in the UK and continue to put spoons on his car?!

BTW, I heard that he's maybe going to do the show also in other countries, so everyone should be worried about it.

IE7 works too, but you have to click on the video link to start the player.

The UI on that video player really sucks though.

Yeah, you need to click on the top photo on the list and hopefully it would work.

And I just noticed I wrote he was moving a magnet in my original post, I meant a compass of course.

In this clip, Uri 'The Spoon' Geller, pulls a young lad up onto the stage to bend a spoon. Geller already has a spoon in his hand, and when the young lad comes up carrying his own, Geller snatches it out of the kid's hands and throws it down on the ground. Unbelievable.

If you listen to what he says as he throws it away, he says "thin spoons are better." He didn't even examine the kid's spoon, he just grabbed it and tossed it.

It is sort of "playing " for me in IE6 now but unwatchable as it stops and starts every half second and the soundtrack is speeded up - weird

Maybe Geller put a hex on it........?

Good news, now everyone can view it at youtube!

It's around 50 seconds into the clip. The fake thumb can be clearly seen for a few seconds after he puts it on.

Be quick before the Geller lawyers ask the site to remove the video! ;)

many years ago on UK tv, geller was set up on one of these celebrity candid camera type slots on a saturday night show (A Noel Edmunds one I think) He wasn't aware of the cameras. I'm pretty sure that this is a clip from that show.

Wow. It is SO obvious, it's not even good sleight of hand. I think that I could have done a better job of putting on the fake thumb and I can't even spell majic!

I cant get this to play in firefox or IE.

edit: Thanks for the youtube link.

Rrose, what these photos prove beyond a doubt is what I stated at the beginning of this thread, the burnette is much hotter than the blond.

Also, it shows the whole thumb thing, too. Thanks.

This is one of the reasons that Youtube got so huge so fast. You don't have to devote hours of research to determine which version of which browser on which platform with which plugins is needed to watch a video. You just click on play.
