Tacos!

Since it is almost impossible to find a good taco here in the Great White North, I tend to go a bit crazy when I am somewhere that has good tacos.

I love the little tacos. I love them good.

Does anyone know of any good taco place in order around Vegas, or would be willing to mount an expedition?

So, there's a Baja Fresh at the Trop, and another at the Sahara.

There's also a few Rubios (which have street tacos..the little ones) but they're driving distances.

Both of those are better than the Border...

OK, I know this isn't nearly as good as finding a gen-u-ine Mexican restaurant, but there's a Chipotles right on the strip, next to Harrahs. Very quick, and certainly cheaper than most hotel food. We usually hit it at least once during our TAM stay.

We usually drive over to a place about two miles east of the strip. Very diner-ish, but no tourists and good food. And hell yeah I'm keeping it a secret! But if you find us at TAM, you can probably talk us into giving you a ride over some morning... provided you take a vow of secrecy.

From past experience, all I can say is STAY AWAY from the taco bar at the Riv's World Fare Buffet. It stinks!

I'm not much of an omelette person, so I don't have firsthand experience. My wife usually gets -- and enjoys -- one of the scrambles, and that's really just a big messed up omelette.
