I decided to publish some of my older stuff on my new blog, so if you have a special interest in alleged psychics Colin Fry or Terry Evans, visit http://garvarn.blogspot.com.

Great stuff; I'd read the original on Fry on the badpsychics site. To my eternal shame, I watch Fry's 6ixth Sense quite regularly; he's not even as good as John Edward. Very vague most of the time, and a pathological question-asker; even when a one-on-one is set up with a specific purpose and a subject he must know is already "in spirit", he still asks "is your mother still with us?" It must either be force of habit, or to help disguise his later use of constant questions in his cold reading.

Did you ever find ot if your suspicions re the man in the foyer might be well founded?
 
Enjoyable read, Chateaubriand. I'll be returning regularly to read more.

On a side note, and with a nod to Big Les; you'd think that Fry, Acorah and particularly Tony Stockwell would be laughed out of the game since the Shirley Ghostman TV series. Sadly, it seems not to be the case yet.

Join them, as they bring the Earth plane and the Spirit plane together, to creat... a bi...plane. :) Fry actually uses that line (on his show, sans biplane gag) as well as "love and light" (on his "college" website).

Sadly, the hardcore wilful ignorance brigade ensure that even "internal frauds" (ie exposed even within their own sphere as fake) like "Lincoln"/Fry can get away with just about anything. Even if he came out and admitted all on TV, a small hardcore would choose to rationalise a way out of it that left their belief systems/egos intact.

Was Fry using 'love and light' before or after Shirley? If it was after, I'd love to see Mark Wooton go after him for copyright infringement or something similar.

This is the page I saw it on - can't remember him using it on his TV show. Most likely Wootton cribbed it from him I would think. The guy's a tool. Likes to blow his own trumpet as well. :D
 
Every time I think of Fry's Floating Flugelhorn, it puts me in mind of a regular sketch in the Scottish TV comedy show, 'Chewing The Fat'. The sketch was about this office manager who thought he could turn invisible, and when he was 'invisible', his underlings had to play along. The fat, wigged boss would prance about making desk items mysteriously 'float' about the office to the 'amazement' of his underlings.

I read about this in the News of The World today, however even the headline in the news paper had the word 'solve' in quotes:p

This lot really are like the X-Men or Marvel's Super Heroes. Each one has their own imaginary made-up superpower.
