Following article states that the "Blind Sheik" Omar Abdel-Rahman is gravely
ill and near death. Abdel-Rahman is infamous as the "Blind Sheik", spiritual
leader of the terrorist group which carried out February 26, 1993 truck
bombing of World Trade Center killing 6, injuring 1000. He was convicted
of planning an even wider campaign of terror targeting bridges and tunnels
in the New York area.

Waiting for the good news that he has croaked so can raise a glass!

I have already raised several glasses towards his death.

Playing the CTer here:
How can a blind man be behind terror attacks?! Sheeple!

There is some worry / speculation that his death in US custody will cause more terror attacks, but I'm not really sure there's going to be much of a difference based on where he dies, when he dies.

lol...how can a blind man be responcible for terror attacks?

how can a man in a wheel-chair lead a nation during wartime?

its easy...they summon the various senses they still have to motivate, instruct, and lead others to do what they want them to do.

The people who would attack us over the death of a 68 year-old man after 13 years in custody would probably have attacked us anyway.

I disagree. Death can be a very symbolic event, triggering all sorts of responses. In fact, this Sheik specifically requested that his death while in custody of the US cause a reaction. Why should we doubt his followers will not obey?

The obvious answer, BTW, is in the proof of the pudding. When he does, in fact, die we'll find out the power of his words/ideas.
