What falsehood?

67? Sixty Seven? That's it? 67? How many people go there every year? 67?

And what evidence is there that these 67 were in fact miracles? How many amputees had their limbs grow back? How many severely retarded children were made not retarded?

It is understood that out of millions of people with serious illness many will be inexplicably cured without prayer or a visit to Lourdes. That is a fact.

Out of the millions that have gone to Lourdes

1.) 67 have been "inexplicably" cured.
2.) None were amputees.
3.) None were severely retarded.

That god, such an arbitrary being who witholds his curing powers from so many that the so called miracles are no better than chance.

Think about that.

This is a really, really ####ing bad card to play. What you've done here is go all-in on a pair of jacks to my ace king and the flop's a pair of aces and a king.

Two reasons why:

If sixty squillion people visit Lourdes every year, praying to be healed, it's a cast-iron certainty that some will be cured. I'm surprised it's as low as 67, but I guess the Pope needs to be a bit circumspect about ingrown toenails being miraculously cured. Accordingly, and as RandFan has eloquently pointed out - unless we're talking regenerated limbs, optic nerves, or genuinely inexplicable cures, the "cures" from Lourdes ain't worth toilet paper. The fact that the Catholic Church has investigated them and claimed them as miracles doesn't cut much ice - it's a bit like getting Sylvia Browne to investigate claims of messages from the dead.

The other reason is the really bad news. If you claim god has interfered in human existence through miraculous means, then you must address all of Paulhoff's posts regarding dead and starving children, children dying of AIDS and the baby in Beerina's sig who drowned in the bucket of drunken puke. You can't claim on one hand that god is doing miracles and on the other hand, he isn't.

Drop this one, mate - it's a loser whichever way you treat it.

So thinking rips people off, I guess many off the people who worship your god don’t like thinkers, I guess they has too much too hind, as they rip people off mainly thru fear of a so-called hell.

Yea, that is how all governments that oppress people work, dummy down the people and they seemed to have learned that from the christian religious. Like the people at the top of our government how are trying to dummy down the people in this country and one of the ways is thru religion and cutting down of funds for schools. Yes KK, you buy into that pie in the sky has they walk all over you rights, manly the right to think.

Tree of knowledge, and an all-powerful and all-knowing god was afraid of that tree, it must of be put there by a more all-powerful and all-knowing god to screw up the works for this lesser god.
