Just because someone doesn't accept god doesn't mean that they have denied it, too. Many people, myself included, stick to the facts: there is no evidence either way, so He may exist. It's not the same thing as he doesn't exist. Do you see everything in black and white?
Leave teaching faith to the churches, and science to the schools. Not that difficult to understand. Further, (again, try not to look at this through your monochrome computer screen), just because someone is teaching something doesn't nessesarily mean that they believe it, or that they are telling children that they should believe it. You don't have to accept the knowledge/facts that the teacher is teaching you. Religious people do that ALL the time, so what's the problem?
Too many gaps in the theory of electricity, too. Guess Ben Franklin should have realized that.
I never heard anyone talk about god in sience class ever, in any form, till religious people started to get all huffy about preaching ID in the classroom. The only reason why they mention god now is because teachers started to worry about getting fired for doing their jobs because of nuts like you.
Actually, everything was hunky dory until crazy religios folk like you started to get all huffy about science teachers not preaching the word of god in a science class.
I think I'm about to faint from too much irony intake.
