"A Mathematician's View of Evolution"

That's weird, then why are single skeletons or fragments of skeletons offered as evidence of evolution in some cases?
Gee...which cases? Any cases in which there are more than single skeletons or fragments of skeletons to offer?

Are there species for which we have many examples, but for which single skeletons or fragments of skeletons are still what is offered as evidence?

Cuz that would be weird...

T'ai, you are not this dumb. You know that the only way to represent a group is by taking samples and presenting them as representative. Unfortunately, we have limited quantities of samples, so we will never have enough fossils to give you a statistically significant representative sample. However, every discovery brings us closer to this goal.

Perhaps you can focus on the issues and stop making wild statements which are only meant to mislead and confuse.

Are you seriously askinig this or just being amusing?

People,

When reading T'ai Chi's posts, you have to take into account that he is a Young-Earth Creationist.

Once you do that, it becomes much clearer.

I am aware of this. But my point was that T'ai has a tendency to make statements that hold no water simply to obfuscate. He is smart enough to know that his statement had no other purpose.

I really hope Zygar is right, 'cause this statement is just silly. Did you read it on a creationist website? Single skeletons or fragments of skeletons may be offered as evidence for the existence of a species but never as complete evidence of evolution. The entire fossil record is offered as part of the evidence for evolution by natural selection.

Hello, T'ai? Oh, that's right. I'm one of many you have on ignore so you can pretend that no one can refute your logic.

Every individual is a member of some species.

I know that you know damn all about biology, but surely even you can grasp that.

Why do you present single letters as arguments against evolution? Evoluition doesn't act on individuals. That doesn't mean that individuals don't bear the effects of evolution.

After I opened that spoiler I almost laughed my head right off of my body.
