Silly British Conspiraloons

So now it's OK to insult entire nations here with generalisations?
Ask Canadian James Randi.
Also, since when is Canada part of the U.S.? ;)
I just meant, is "Welsh" a punchline in the UK the same way "Canadian" is in the US (which I find lazy and un-funny)?

I think it would be more proper to call the Welsh, the Alaskans of the UK. Since Alaska is actually a part of the US, unless you meant in terms of sharing the same land mass.

Actually it would be more like "Newfie" here in Canada. A part of the country, but sort of off to the side where you don't need to pay attention to it much.

Blackadder: Have you ever been to Wales, Baldrick?

Baldrick: No, but I've often thought I'd like to.

Blackadder: Well don't, it's a ghastly place. Huge gangs of tough sinewy men roam the valleys terrorising people with their close-harmony singing. You need half a pint of phlegm in your throat just to pronounce the placenames.

We know a person from recent history who had a thing for linage and gene pools don't we?"

Is Patrick Brown comparing the Jews to Hitler here? Or am I jumping to conclusions?

Hm, it sounds like he could be comparing anyone who sees the mutually inconsistant genealogies of Jesus in the bible as significant with Hitler; he does rather seem to have Jews on the mind, though.

btw, I love the fact that a Brit is raving about how Israel has an 'occult symbol' on its flag (whereas we've got the cross - a religious symbol and torture implement - on ours :D )

That's one strange thread. Drugs? Mental illness? Racism combined with stupidity? Or (being optimistic) is Patrick just playing an odd joke?

Great idea. Hope you don't mind me using it.

At first I thought drugs. I used to have weird thoughts in my pot-smoking early twenties. Now I think racism combined with stupidity.

After that little meltdown, I've sort of put Patrick Brown in the same catagory with 'snakesforbrains' over at colboard. They are just not mentally well and I'm not even comfortable trying to converse with them. I'm not a mental health professional, and they have serious issues.

He is nothing, though, compares to snakesforbrains.

On a topic about thermite...

Why was there a cauldron of smelt steel buning for weeks , if it were not for some chemical reactions brought on by pirates ?

It actually gets worse after that...

That thread is also a double-bonus because you get to see Jabulon's butchery of Stephen Jones' psuedoscience and you get to see the type of logic he shows that leads to the quote in my sig. He claims that because they found iron in the debris, and it's a byproduct of thermite, that means there was thermite.

When I see something like this snakesforbrains guy or Patrick's bizarre numerology stuff, I basically have to put them on ignore and not deal with them ever again. I cannot help them, that much is certain. They have serious issues that require professional help well beyond what I am capable of. This goes way deeper than 9/11, for them.

Holy cow! When it comes to paranoid conspiracy theorists, there really is nothing new under the sun.

Yep (iirc some other people have come up with similar theories, too). To come up with a truly original CT (except for new events) must take real talent nowadays :D

its very sad...the whole conspiracy movemant. they see governmant agents under every rock...listening behind every tree. it must suck to see the world that way.

im just glad that most people see what most conspiracy theories are....paranoid, irrational, delusions.

Well, to be honest - i´m still sceptic about the
foreknowledge and nobody disproved all the evidence
about things the Government should have known
about since the us- and international intelligences
knew it, too... Before 9/11...

as am i. there is evidence that people knew "something" was coming. but i havent seen any evidence that anyone knew exactly what was coming..other then the 5 israelis doing the hora in jersey..=)

He probably is, tacitly. There is a long history of conpiracists even claiming Hitler was in the pay of the Jews, eg Anthony Sutton 'Wall Street & the Rise of Hitler' for example. To be fair, Brown probably wasn't thnking straight--you have to remember these people have no sense of history or grasp of politics, or debate, or evidence.

There are some strange things about foreknowlede:

Anthony Shaffer (DIA) and his "ABLE DANGER"-Program
knew about all the necessary connections to muslim
terrorists but a high ranking officer denied to use the
data.

The Al Quds Mosque in germany was observed from
international-, us- and german intelligence since 1998
but the hijackers were able to fly to the us nevertheless...

Then there were warnings from several intelligence
agencies around the globe that warned about attacks
and several PDB´s to clinton and bush about terror-
activity and some other strange things...
