The damage to the core elements? Based on the FEMA and NIST reports, the engineers' accounts of their inspections, documentaries, photos and videos of the collapses, and photos and videos of Ground Zero, Fresh Kills, Jersey and scrap yards.

The remaining core "spires?" Photos and videos of the collapses, documentaries.

This has been explained to you here. As soon as the tilt started, the "fulcrum" side was also moving straight down. The tilt can only continue if a fulcrum is bracing it. Since that didn't happen, the entire portion had only one way to go: down. This is based on videos of the fulcrum side of the south tower.

I just think the treatment and opinion of CT's here is generally poor and unscientific.
