Yes, but most movements do not rely on them so heavily for material.

Did you watch Screw Loose Change or read the Loose Change Viewers guide? You may think it is crap, but a lot of the people on your side fall for it hook line and sinker.

You are asking a question obviously no one, not even yourself, can answer. Not a good way to start. It sounds alot like what the Creationnists are doing (Now I'm not saying you are one, I'm just saying that your reasoning reminds me of it). Basically, they are asking questions that they know can't be answered, and using that as a proof that what they believe must therefore be true.

I hope you see that.

Hi pdoherty. Just reviewed your debate thread with Gravy. Gotta say, you really didn't show much -- at all. OK, so you don't like the USA, join the club. Beyond that, you didn't make a single point. I don't care about your opinions, I care about what you know, what information and evidence you bring to the table. That's what gets me off, evidence. I love to learn stuff, even if it means something I always thought was totally wrong. If Bush did 9/11, I sure as hell would like to see proof so I know what I'm dealing with.

But you didn't provide any, just a couple of tired old canards that you couldn't defend and have been debunked long ago many times over. Is this your idea of "debate"? Sorry, gotta do a lot better than that. Pretty poor showing overall.

Why is anyone bothering with this mental midget? He's obviously incurable. Don't get me wrong, I will always spend my time and energy helping someone outgrow a 9/11 conspiracy attention addiction, but when you can tell they are immune to factual evidence and speculative critical thinking, you gotta know when to cut 'em loose.

Sure -- I don't care if you're a good debater, or articulate, or even spell accurately. What I do care about is what kind of evidence and proof you put forth. Show me the facts -- and back them up with references to credible, reliable sources -- and you've got my attention. Recite unsubstantiated opinions, and you've lost me, no matter how good a debater you are. I'm interested in who's right, not who scores the most debating points.

And the souce for this is my own mind, since I'm the one I'm talking about. For others, maybe playing "gotcha!" is more important, but I don't think they're really interested in the truth, they just want to draw attention to themselves.
