Well, they thrive on drama, so they're bound to get a certain amount of attention. Just like the neo-nazi movement in Germany where the German Press and global media are delighted to give them coverage, right? This summer in Berlin there were about 400 thugs, and about 10,000 people demonstrating against them if I got the facts right. But all the news covered, worldwide, was that there were some racist b*****ds in Germany. That's what sells soap flakes!

Well, there are idiots everywhere. Neither Germany nor USA (nor France nor Iran) have a monopoly on stupidity!:D

Welcome aboard. From another thread, I see you've been buffeted about on the LC boards. I tried to play their games, but I just don't have the time that the kinder do. You'll find a lot of regular posters here have been waging war against Dylan and his cronies. Not all of the CT fans are rabid anti-zionists. Some are lightweight anti-zionists, and some of them have shown no such tendencies at all.

Regarding 9/11 conspiracy theorists, it seems to me that there is actually more focus on Mossad/zionism among Europeans than Americans. If you visit http://www.nineeleven.co.uk/board/index.php, for instance, you'll see a lot of references to zionism. Most American 9/11 conspiracy theorists seem to fixate more on Bush and the Neo-Conservatives.

Remember that Al-Qaeda is a Sunni terrorist group, and that Iran is a theocracy run by Shi'ite clerics, they will jump at any chance to paint the US as murderous bastards but for them pissing off Al-Qaeda is a bonus, not a drawback.

As a Jewish man, I can tell you that we're all pretty used to it. This is just the way the world is. My great uncle was murdered in the Holocaust. My grandparents were thrown out of their hotel on their wedding night when the owner found out they were Jewish. My father got beat up in grade school. I have to listen to idiots proclaiming there's a "war on Christmas." It's just part of the game.

i can not speak for all other countries within europe,
but here in germany it is still a huge taboo to talk about
jewish people in a disrespectful way - even in a non-
political way. This does not include the holocaust. We
learn about the holocaust very early in school. (Also
in american history lessons?)

You may call me dumb, but i never learned or even
heard about zionism until i hook up with all the 9/11
conspiracies. In the CT-Scene, you hear it in every
corner. Maybe just coincidence (?!.)

Strange, you should normally learn about zionism when learning about the establishment of Israel in history class.

Of course you learn about the conflict and you
hear about the "jewish homeland issue" in geo-
graphy and relegion as well, but i don´t remind
the word zionism (added-) or the zionism movement. (-)

Well, the focus in german geography lessons is
the german history, that´s why the holocaust was
more important then the other issues about jewish
and middle-east politics when i went to school.

But i can´t tell you about nowadays education,
maybe the middle-east is more important todays.

The first time I remember any mention of Zion was in the Bony M song "The Rivers of Babylon".
Of course if I had've been in a religious family I would have known that it was a passage from the bible.

I think it's a confluence of several things.

First, the anti-semites had a head start on 9-11 Denial, because they immediately started putting out their propaganda.

Second, there seems to be a strong libertarian influence in 9-11 Denial. For whatever reason, the libertarians tend to blame Israel for the need for foreign policy, which has always been the stumbling block of the libertarian movement.

Third, the Jews in America have been very successful as a group. Whether this is the usual "the second generation of every immigrant group in America runs everything" or not, I can't say. Having stable families that stress education is a simple formula, but it's also very effective.

The good news is that RBN's not much of a radio network, and anti-Semitism is not very powerful here.

This is why my "alarm-bells" went of after hearing
this propaganda on RBN. Here in germany it also
starts with a common enviousness about succsess-
full jewish people. And the Nazis did use this "very
well" for their propaganda. So i really hope that
this is just to be on the fringes (meaning "Randerscheinung").

And i´m glad to hear from you as well, that
this is not popular in the states. I´ve learned
this lesson about history.
