Actually it's pretty bland. JDX sounds pretty nervous, and far less bombastic than you might imagine. He does his best to own the show by repeatedly interrupting Blood's rants just as he (Blood) is getting up momentum, which is kind of funny, but not much. Nothing really dramatic gets said beyond the usual. I switched off during the callers at the end.
 
It was pretty much self-promotion, with the normal nonsense thrown in. Yeah, people need a heap of training to turn off the transponder; gotta be rated on type to do that. Ignoring that NORAD looked out, not in, prior to 9/11.

What I did find amusing was one of the callers who said they were an American Airlines pilot (Wes from... Texas?) - even they said that only 10% of the pilots would even consider 9/11 being a conspiracy (i forget the exact words).

So that means - according to Wes - 90% of the cockpit crew disagree with John DOH!

Is that being hoist on your own petard?
 
Oh - and that Jack Blood likes to ramble on, doesn't he? The "guest" could barely get a word in edgewise.

I figure that if Jack Blood posted on LC, DOH! would have banned him for spin or spamming by now....:)

BTW - what is the association between Blood and LC / Avery?
 
Alex Jones is promoting Loose Change with his other videos in a TROOF pack. Jack is a friend of Alex and has a show on the same network. Jack has had Dylan on his show.

Jack is a well-meaning guy, but he looks at the world as Gub'mint vs. People. If info is shaky and helps the People, it is okay to use. If info is solid and helps the Gub'mint, it is attacked. Nice guy, I've hung out with him. Like Alex, he sees things as a fight between two sides instead of a search for the truth regardless of who it helps. That's why very solid articles like PM's piece are mercilessly mocked and pod theories/living hijackers/Pentagon missiles receive air time.

Doesn't 30-40% of the general population believe some form of 9/11 conspiracy(according to several misleading polls)?
Even if Wes from Texas is right and 10% of the aircrews buy the CT BS(which still seems quite high to me), that's a much lower percentage than a slice of the general population.
Not exactly something you'd bring up to help your case.....

However, I think the percentage of airline pilot CTers is likely closer to the percentage of Structural Engineer CTers - around 0.01 %, at best.

Yes. I got a kick out of that, too. The bulk of the "interview" was beyond boring.

I also got a chuckle out of the fact that the first thing that "Wes from Texas" said was that he was not using his real name because everyone he knows disagrees with him on his conspiracy theory delusions.

Hey, that sounds just like JDX! Wonder which LCer that was pretending to be Wes from Texas :)

The usual crap, in other words. JDX is obviously afraid of debate with Billzilla because he knows he'll get his butt kicked again. Even at the closed forum of LC, they had to ban Billzilla instead of engage him, in order to prevent further embarrassment to JDX.

And yet, jdx pretends to welcome debate.

I have been lurking around this forum for awhile now and find it a refreshing and enlighten place.

The episode with Bill and Johnny gave us a great laugh and was done with the full consent of Bill, whom I pmed a few times and discussed it with. We knew Johnny would never take the challenge and we knew he would back down.

Incidentally beyond what is there is another post from myself where I again lay down the challenge and again it is not accepted. Johnny actually mods this post to make it look as though I hurled a load of insults at him. I didn’t, I simply restated what I had already stated. Also he has worded his response to my modified post so as to invite me back to further discuss it. This invitation is false as he has banned me and I not allowed to respond.

Here is what Johnny boy wrote after he had modified my post and banned me.

Bill has already proven himself to be a troll.. and since you have too.. you're gone as well (although you can still see this post).

You have not accepted this challenge but prefer to label myself, Bill or anybody else who opposes you as troll; again you know this is a lie.
I am not a pilot; I don’t know the first thing about aeroplanes and freely admit it. But I do know how to spot a liar and how to expose them.

Anyways I am happy to be amongst a group of people that can not only see these conspiracies for what they are and use critical thinking to expose them for what they are.

I am personally past the point of trying to rationalise and reason with those that really believe this insanity and have recently simply left one forum in absolute disgust at the level of hostility and abuse that is allowed to be levelled at those that disagree or simply try to put a different view over. I must admit before going I fired off a few choice words of my own but hey everybody is entitled to have a go back after insult and abuse is levelled at you continually.

I will probably lurk rather than post here simply because there is already great input to this forum from many critical thinkers and it is actually encouraging to see that the entire world is not going completely insane.

I tried to register under my usual username, stateofgrace, but for some reason have not received the validation emails to activate this account so have set up a new account under my secondary name totalskeptic. If any mods could take the time to get rid of either one and let me know which one to use I would be grateful.

Jonny boy has employed the post edit tactic many, many times at LC. In addition to implying that insults were used, he's edited out potentially damning content on a few occasions including one of my posts(and he promptly banned me after editing my post - go figure :rolleyes:). That guy has some serious issues and I almost feel sorry for him....almost.

This is really saying something, considering the competition...but JDX gets my vote as the most pathetic twoofer.
