A correction to my prior post: it appears that they are up to 15 registered members now, but only 4 have ever posted anything.

A group of pilots? So far his group consists of only 1 claimed pilot - himself. And based on the way he throws his "insider knowledge" around, I honestly don't think John D'oh will tolerate any other actual pilot or anyone else with aviation knowledge in his group. He wants to be able to be the "go-to" interpreter of all that terribly complicated aviation data. He wants to be able to be the one who says FARS and METAR KDCA and MX Logs and PAX and sound all official.

Are there any other pilots besides him who carry the same delusions? It will be interesting to see. Certainly anyone who questions his conclusions will be banned on site. I should know - it's why I was banned from LC by him.

Before he locked the snoopers out I was able to spot this link posted by JDX

It's another pilot/CTist (and apparently former Spotlight writer). I also saw claims that JDX spoke to him on the phone about something or other, so possibly this is the other pilot.

Congratulations on the new site.

Hopefully this will be a place where concerned pilots, be they airline, general aviation, or military can come to express their opinions, their technical analysis, insights and concerns regarding the events of 911.

As an airline pilot for Continental Airlines, former TWA, AA, ATA, I can attest that many of my colleagues are waking up to the inadequacies of the official 911 commission report, as are the lead commission members.

This guy is almost certainly a faker. He's trying to sound experienced by listing a bunch of different airlines - but when pilots(and mechanics as well) land at a major, they stay there. Alot of mechanics at my airline have worked for a number of airlines, but that is usually a result of mergers, etc(ie Eastern -> Pan Am -> Delta). I only know of one mechanic that left a major for another major. The guy above lists 3 different parent companies: Continetal, AA(who purchased TWA), and ATA.

There is simply no way any pilot with decent seniority at AA would leave for Continental. If he got layed off at AA, well he'd be out of work because Contiental was not only not hiring pilots after 911, they layed a bunch off and not recalled them...

Here is my conspiracy theory. F/O is a figment of Mr. D'ohs imagination..or he is in fact Glenn Stanish - see below.

Glen(n) Stanish(G* Stanish and other mispellings attempted) is not listed in the FAA airmans database - so as far as the FAA is concerned, there is no such airman....he is a fake. He is also a part-time scholar for Truth. 'Nuff said.

On another forum, he had absolutely zero concept of anything related to aviation (aside from maybe being an occasional passenger, as you suggest); he said that he has no "physical knowledge" of anything to do with plane crashes; but his "analysis" of the crash of flight 93 was like killtown's - based solely on photographs and trying to visually compare them to other crash sites and deciding that it just "didn't look right", right down to the unburnt grass, no concept of flames or smoke whatsoever, etc.

When any aviation-specific questions were raised, he never even attempted to answer a single one. To be fair, he did not pretend to be a pilot on that particular site in the two years that he was posting there. It appears that he saved that fantasy for other forums.

Oh, and he opined that there's no way a pilot's uniform could fit into carry-on luggage (I kid you not!) (Of course, it was quickly pointed out to him by actual pilots that one could fit several uniforms in a standard carry-on and that most pilots do pack a spare in their carry-on).

He also had no idea whatsoever about cockpit doors, how and whether they are locked, how strong or flimsy they were, what procedures and protocols were or were not in place regarding cockpit access, etc.; no idea about flight data recorders, no concept of flight paths except to the extent that he could look at photographs and claim that, for instance, flight 93 could not possibly have cleared the trees, things like that.

You say nosediving isn't simple. As I said I'm not a pilot. But for my common sense nosediving into a building of the size of the Pentagon seems clearly less difficult as going for the Hani Hanjour turn and crash the plane between the first and second floor of the Pentagon. If you think otherwse or if you could simply point out the special difficulties of nosediving I'd be very interested. As honestly I'm simply lacking any special knowledge and base my assumption only on common sense.

"Pilots for Truth" -- it's one of those multi-word names, like "Holy Roman Empire" and "English horn," where not a single word is true. They're not pilots, they're not for anything, and they wouldn't know the truth if it came crashing into their window riding a 747.
 
What will the Loosers say when they find out that their respected moderator JohnDoeX is not really what he says he is? Will they feel betrayed? Will they cover their ears and hum real loud? Claim it is a government disinfo agent?

Someone has to post it on LC for all to enjoy.

Bingo. :D We got a bunch of reservists drilling a whole lot in a hurry when the post 9-11 shrinkage (in the testicles of airline Boards and CEO's) happened.

Its been hell in the airline industry the last 5 years(really the last 7). I am currently looking for another line of work because the dreaded "f" word is getting brought up more and more in the rumor mill. And in the airline industry, rumors typically bat close to a 1.000.

I got layed off 3 years ago, but luckily I got recalled to a bench tech position because I had my FCC license and more senior guys didnt.....still feel a little guilty about that - but its a dog eat dog industry.
