Why would Jesus need money? If He's here, then it is the Second Coming, and the necessary power to do what is needed hardly relies on money, does it? Methinks not.

I like the bumper sticker that says, "Like Jesus would own a gun and vote Republican". Usualy the car has been keyed by fundies, but I believe it's true!!!

Kitten met Elijah at JREF. He's a Dolphins fan, but he must not have much pull with God the way they've been playing.

Tell Elijah to buck up and wait for September 7th. If Nick Saban can get their offensive line together, as well as their secondary, they're going to be scary. Can't wait for the season to start already!

Okay, Jesus died for the remission of sins....but this Jesus says there is no sin.

Sinners go to hell. Even Jesus went to hell, albeit briefly. But this Jesus says there is no hell.

So when this guy walks into a room, does he announce "I'm Jesus Christ and I'm totally pointless!" or what? :rolleyes:

I can't believe that I JUST found out about this (through PZ Myers just finding out) and ... well, just "Wow."

Not even more than that can come out of my mouth. I just feel sort of stunned. Between this guy and the owner of the Washington Times? Icky.
 
I agree, what does he need money for, hasn't he got some sort of supernatural powers? If not, I'm a bit disappointed to be honest.:confused:

It works both ways. Jesus wouldn't pick up a gun and demand you give money to "the poor", either.

Without miracles this Jesus has not got a chance of convincing many unless his teachings are enough.

We have yet to hear him debate or offer more of his philosophy.
Further, he should be able to enlighten us as to the feelings and purpose of his return other than teaching.

Jesus was supposedly resurrected with His body.
What happened to this body?
