The fact that Islamic teachings already allow Muslims to eat pork when necessary and to sell pork when necessary (and by necessary that just means to keep their business going) is not any indication to you that this pork prohibition isn't likely to deter a Muslim on a battlefield?

Why wouldn't they know. Are you saying the Israeli Defense Forces won't advise

You have a valid point. Both sides in the conflict should be supplied with
a sufficient quantity of the following duck bill masks which are rated to
block the inhalation of dust. I would not want either side to be harmed
by breathing it in. Only getting doused with it.

Civilians have already been warned by Israel to move out of the action zones. They can be re-warned to stay out of the pork weapon dispersal zone as well or get themselves a duck-bill mask which will prevent them from inhaling it but not stop them from getting sprinkled by it.

The ludricous argument is supposition without basis in fact. The despensation argument is unknown until the methodology is attempted. Since it is relatively cheap and non-lethal there is no harm whatsoever in testing it on an actual theatre of operations.

I am very serious about a non-lethal alternative to ending the conflict even if it means offending Hezbollah.
