The Gay Goverenor who had to quit was McGreevy. Nit that there is anything inherently wrong with being a gay gov but he got embroiled in a sexual harassment scandal, a gay harassment scandal. He just wrote a book detailing how he would cruise truck stops late at night looking for a pick up. He was married (to a woman) and had two kids ... I pity his poor children having a father who on top of living this lie then has the gaul to write a book about it.

Anyway McGreevy just bought himself a new mansion with his partner now that he is out of the governor's.

Having witnessed Greevy's coming out speech and his resignation, I can tell you that I am correct. He resigned in August, day or so before a male Israeli assistant was going to announce a lawsuit against him for sexual harassment. The guy left the country afterwards and there was some talk he may've actually been trying for a settlement rather than go to court. Or he may've been blackmailing the Governor as McGreevy's lawyers suggested. Anyway Mc Greevy resigned that day .... and set November 15th as his last day. Once again you lose comprehension in the translation. I suppose I have to explain that you can resign from a job on Day X and do so "effective" on Day Y. It's commonly called "Giving Notice." Don't they do this in Denmark also?

Or not. Its a matter for separate debate and a derail for which I apologize. It would not have ocurred had not Larsen brought up his mis-perception of my attitude toward this issue.

Larsen knows this but uses it as an excuse to further harass me. In addition I will not violate the rules of this forum by reprinting descriptions of the books in question here including in some cases their titles which are also suggestive and may violate forum policies. It should be a monologue since this is clearly a derail for which I already apologized. However keep perusing the catalogue ... especially the sexual autobiographies. And while I do not object to a clinical literature on the subject of sexual deviance which is the defense for these titles, please tell me how a huge multi volume guide to pornographic videos has any redeeming academic value or what scientific purpose it serves. I am told by a person investigating this matter that it includes titles depicting deviant behavior and reviews these. The editor of this section of the Prometheus catalogue, a former SUNY Buffalo professor who is no longer teaching and has moved to California, was a consultant to Paidika (search the term) for ten years.
