4:And Jesus said “but my heart grows heavy with sorrow at their plight, their lives were but instants in time yet they are damned for all time”.
5: And God said “SO”
6: And Jesus turned from his father.
7: Thus began the second war in heaven.

Disregard the laws of Heaven and Earth, just imagine your way out of trouble.

Especially if both Jesus and God courted Satan as an ally to tip the balance. And the Holy Ghost could sneak in and steal the Omega Formula while the other two were fighting. And there would be lots of kung fu fighting. And maybe Daleks.

But to make it a box-office smash, we need a couple hotties. Angelina Jolie, maybe, and... erm... Ewan McGregor?

ETA: We need a good script-writer or two. Where's RT and Slingblade? And Dr. A. should write the musical scenes.

Oddly enough, I was thinking about Angelina Jolie for the role of the Virgin Mary. Dressed as, and acting like, Lara Croft, of course. No more wimpy, blue-cloaked, weepy Virgin Mary waiting at home for the menfolk to do things. Not any more. This Virgin Mary packs heat, takes names, and kicks ass. "The fruit of my what? You sick bastard!" and then she teaches some manners.
