If the Genesis creation account is not supposed to be taken literally, and "day" may mean "thousands of years", then what does God mean when he tells us to rest on the seventh day, as he did?
Are we supposed to rest for one thousand years every seven thousand?
Edit: Thousand should probably be replaced with billion, or whatever number they wish to use. But the point still stands.
