Why does Canada comply with Kyoto?

Who sez something that achieves more exists?

Build more nukes.

Now we're getting a lot closer to agreement. The squeaky little voice in me still says at least we should try, but I haven't written off radical adaptation or doomsday scenarios totally.

Personally, I'll take my buddy's advice: most people 'live' in malls these days anyway, so how much difference would it make to move underground?

:D

Trying is fine. Canada and the U.S. could take a super-major chunk out of CO2 practically for free: streamline the licensing requirements for nuclear power generation and make it possible/profitable once again.

It may end up having zero impact on warming but it will have a positive impact on our economy. I don't the good senator from west virginia would agree.

I expect that those Canadians who went to an English school know plenty about English grammar and spelling.

Please accept my most heartfelt apology for subjecting you to this oh so troubling demonstration of my lack of English skills.

I understand how upsetting it is for some people to come to terms with the fact that some people do not have an English upbringing.

Look, worst comes to worst, we could always ask the French to build and run our nuclear reactors for us. Technologically, it's what they do best. Better than just about anyone.
