Trump's Second Term

Reporter: “Were you able to confirm yet that it was a U.S. missile [that hit the girls school in Iran]?”

President Trump: “Who are you with?”

Reporter: “BBC…”

President Trump: “Fake BBC. You mean the ones that put AI in my mouth. The ones that gave me, that had me saying a statement that they now admit was not true? The ones that put terrible words in my mouth and then had to admit that it was fake? The ones that are now being sued for $5B? They’re another fake outfit.”

Complete bs of course. And isn't he suing for ten billion dollars not five? Can't he keep his SLAP suits straight?

Are reporters so ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ cowed they can’t answer the child’s deflection, which he does after almost every question he doesn’t like, along the lines: “It’s not relevant who I’m with. Please answer my question.”

Members of the press, most of you probably pulling down a pretty good paycheck for your job, DO your job! Stop playing his game!

It's like the meme they're pushing about kids being "transitioned" without their parents' permission or even knowledge; no reasonable person remembers those things happening or fears them happening in the future.
Actually... I think it probably does happen. I'm thinking of situations like some foster kid seeking gender reassignment and no one asking permission from or consulting their POS biological father about it. Niche things that a reasonable person would look at and think "well, okay, that's different, proceed." But these aren't reasonable times. The people those ads are aimed at are not reasonable people. They'd look at that same situation and preferentially empathize with the POS biological father, concluding he should be able to continue ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ up his child's life because it's what they would do too.

I'm not sure where that leaves us, really, except understanding that there hasn't been a "reasonable person" in common to appeal to for a long time.

Then they might as well not show up. He was a coward before he had the brains of tapioca. There is no circumstance in which he will answer a direct question. The only reason to ask is so you can say he refused to comment.

Fair point. So these niche cases probably happen about as often as voter fraud, which is another rare situation which has the righties running around and wailing "something's got to be done!"- while kids getting shot in school results in them shrugging and saying "oh well, whatcha gonna do?"

Nor have their been reports of churches being burned down. A double miracle.
Good god, these people are dumb. expect their followers to be dumb, and the worst part is, they're completely right to do so.

He's probably just confusing the current riots with the time that guy followed through in Notre Dame.

Right! Of course, they personally risk never being allowed in the pool again, but for once I'd like to see someone really take him to task!

Trump said AI? That makes him "The Enemy" per his own decree. If he is not the enemy, then one of his statements must be wrong. Quick tell him and see if we can short out his brain.

Who wouldn't volunteer to get a press pass (unpaid!) to one of his ◊◊◊◊
show pressers? Just long enough to have a turn at bullying the sorry SOB.
Oohoo, how I'd revel in just that one chance!

So would everybody here.

Yeah, but if it's your career, and you always have next months rent to think about, you might tread a little more softly around the slumbering beast. Hella tempting though.

America will not relent until the enemy is totally and decisively defeated. 🇺🇸

If your "career" relies on working for an employer who won't send real reporters to ask real questions and accurately report the answers then you are not a reporter. You are just another Trump lackey.

Yes but if he'd said "You put Superior Intelligence in my mouth" it could have meant anyone. Keith Harris could do it. You could slip the soundboard from an old Furby in his top pocket and people would be commenting on what a good day he was having.
