The only issue is stores putting up those Christmas trees in October. If Christmas didn't want a war, it shouldn't have crossed the borders of Thanksgiving to attack Halloween.

He's taken the pardon industry to a whole new level. I hope after the midterms there's enough of an evidence trail to add this to the list of impeachable crimes. It definitely warrants criminal investigation.

He can pardon anyone he wants, perhaps even himself. But that only for federal crimes. I'm sure there's far more than enough for states to send his fat pasty ass to prison.

I have a feeling that if and when he leaves or is thrown out of office, he'll try to "retire" to a country with which the U.S. has no extradition treaty. But he better make sure they will protect him; they can still extradite him if they want to.

He's doing his very best to shield everyone even his far orbit covered by executive privilege, in anticipation of congressional investigations. I suspect there will be many court battles about that.

I think there will be. They had seven Republicans vote for conviction in 1.0 - all they'd need is about 10 more for the two-thirds. Everyone seems to think that's impossible. I think GOP is just itching for a mass revolt (they despise him too) and with his deep unpopularity and an election pummeling, the conditions will be right to jump ship. He's becoming too much of a liability to support any longer.

The Republicans’ Worst Senator, by far, Lisa Murkowski, of the Great State of Alaska...

Such a dumb fight to pick.

Right now, there is a chance the senate might end up tied (or close to tied). Republicans might need every seat available to maintain control if they don't lose it outright.

Murkowski has shown more independence than pretty much every other republican congress critter, but she still votes along with trump's agenda 85% of the time (including voting for Trump's tax cuts for billionaires)

Attacking her isn't going to make her become a MAGAchud loyalist, and if anything it will drive her away from the rest of the GOP boot lickers.
