Okay, I'll make a prediction.
Impeachment by the House of Representatives but not removal from office after the trial in the Senate.
If I've read this correctly.

PS: At least you didn't want something more than impeachment.

Cart/horse.

I vividly recall a thread about how to address Hillary once she was president. How did that turn out?

Once the Democrats actually have seats in the houses and have appointed both speakers you can start deciding what actions might be taken.

Winning the vote is probably certain, accepting the results is not.

If it were just the polling I would agree with you more, but combining it with the historical trend of the out-party flipping congress in midterms is a compelling case for a blue wave. Hell, even the administration is giving up on the House.

If Republicans were smart, they would allow the impeachment to go through and get the yoke that Trump is off from around their necks. They'll still hold the presidency and it will be two years before the next elections.

Indeed. He could share with Assad ;)

Coming this Fall on CBS, one of them is the former dictator of Syria, the other tried to destroy democracy in the World's greatest superpower, now they have to share a dascha in Siberia.. With one bathroom! With this 'Odd Couple' it will be one attack on the norms of civilised society after another!

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be shot in the street by their private militia...

All it needs is a good title.

Any successful vote to convict by Republican senators would put a target on their backs, fronts, tops, and bottoms. And not just them. Family members, staffers, nannies, childhood imaginary friends…
