Ukraine refrained from strikes on Russian oil refineries and energy infrastructure for two days after announcing a ceasefire. However, Russia ignored the initiative and attacked civilian and critical infrastructure in 19 regions.

In particular, five Russian ballistic missiles hit civilian infrastructure in the capital. The President emphasized that intelligence data about missile launches helps prevent killings, and that real de-escalation requires effective pressure from the world on the aggressor.

I've tried X analytics with different terms and the variability is so great hard to conclude anything. News cycles remain the key driver, and only a weeks data is available to query. A surprise to me is actually how few posts there are. A simple search for "Ukraine" for example finds usual traffic of only about 50000 posts/replies a day. That's really not that many out of a site claiming 550 million monthly active users.

Something that isn't in the news but which might give an indication is "white replacement".

But I suspect the volume might be too small.

How dare Ukraine continue to fight back against the Russian invaders at a time when Trump needs Russian diesel to patch up the huge mess he's made of fuel prices that American voters are cross about? Don't the Ukrainians realise they're supposed to care more about the US midterms than they do about having their land stolen? How selfish can you get?

That may be one aspect … although the longer Ukraine resists being persuaded to "reach a deal", the sooner Putin will rescind his generous offers (or more likely empty promises) to share the spoils.

I've been wondering if Russia might be getting oil from Iran. No common border, but not all that far. Any pipelines that way? Anyhow, wouldn't it be awesome if the Russian diesel Trump is getting for us all turned out to come from Iran?

The Caspian is hardly a barrier to that, although some cargo ships (tankers?) have been hit by Ukraine
