[Pedant] that should be Former Pink Floyd musician Roger Waters. Waters left the band in 1985 - over 40 years ago. He has been an ex-member of the band for more than twice as long as he was a member of the band.[/Pedant]

Also, probably the last person anyone involved in this situation wants jumping to their defence, given his reputation for antisemitism, and generally being a bit of an unlikeable ◊◊◊◊.
