Today marks one year since the horrific murder of my friend Charlie Kirk.

It is a painful reminder of the consequences of political violence.

Charlie loved Britain. He visited many times, and always spoke fondly of what he believed was a once great nation that could become great again.

He was such a remarkable advocate for free speech, his Christian faith, and for Western civilisation. He made a long lasting impact on America and the world in such a short time. He was truly an extraordinary man, and we were all blessed to know him.

My thoughts today are with Erika, Charlie’s family, friends, and all those who continue to mourn his loss

The Poole Old Lifeboat Museum has been forced to close until further notice after volunteers were verbally abused.

In a Facebook post, they said, Due to the ongoing protests in Poole it is with regret that we have to close the Museum.
This is following incidents of protesters verbally assaulting our volunteers in and around the Museum. Hopefully we will reopen as soon as possible.

Astley represents an area of Newcastle which has many residents of immigrant origin, be it Bengali, Punjabi, Chinese or wherever.

The @RNLI do indeed save lives. That I’ve gotten behind before and supported.
However escorting illegal immigrants onto our shores IS NOT SAVING LIVES. It is ultimately costing lives of innocent British children, women and British citizens!
With these undocumented, illegal men being escorted into the UK by the RNLI. A British life/lives will be taken somewhere down the line with every boat brought in.
The RNLI’s actions have consequences. When will they realise this!!!
This is a fact as we’ve witnessed this time and time again and continue to do so/pay the ultimate price!
