Merged Arday life and death

Vixen,

Cofnas himself was apparently the victim of a pile on by students, teachers and administrators at Cambridge before this (his later involvement in the Arday stuff). Due to attention given to him in a student newspaper over something he had written in a personal blog post and then student protests and student complaints against him over it, Cambridge's Emmanuel College terminated his position with them claiming that his views were not in line with their DEI (EDI) objectives!

Cofnas himself was thus "canceled" from his position due to a woke pile on!

The University of Cambridge itself, however, later determined that what he expressed did not run afoul of the law nor of their own policies which they said were in place to uphold and encourage free speech.

The University of Cambridge itself thus "cleared" Cofnas even though its Emmanuel College had already gotten away with terminating his position!

Last I saw, Cofnas was still in a legal battle with them, for he had already lost a court case against Emmanuel College too but apparently before the University of Cambridge itself had made its determination.

Cofnas is not a psychologist. He knows nothing at all about psychology. He has never done any original research whatsoever in the theory of intelligence (a Psychology discipline). All his theories are borrowed from well-known eugenists and neo-nazi race theorists. How can you take seriously anyone who utters glib rubbish such as 'Ashkenazi Jews have population IQ's in the range 112 - 122 (or whatever it was) without stipulating where your random sample came from (it could be a small cohort of a class of Talmud students who revere scholarship, for all we know). Cofnas is backed by right-wing activists such as Thiel and Elon Musk tweeting crap about the UK 'losing freedom of speech' and trying to stir up race riots. There's also the backing of Peter Thiel's right wing think tanks. When Cofnas was suspended by Ghent Uni recently for not reseaching what he was appointed to research, he got the US Ambassador to Belgium to issue a strongly worded complaint to the University. So Ghent Uni gave in to the usual right wing US bullying, no doubt prompted by the Big Orange One being dragged into it. Notice how the weasel Cofnas managed to slur Ghent uni chief bod who suspended him as a loony green transgender.

Here's a good summary of Clapham - Arday's family roots - and its sociological make up:

Clapham in the 20th and 21st centuries

After the coming of the railways, Clapham developed as a suburb for commuters into central London. Clapham High Street railway station opened in 1862 and the underground City and South London Railway was extended to the area in 1900. By 1900 Clapham had fallen from favour with the upper classes. Many of their grand houses had been demolished by the middle of the 20th century, though a number remain around the Common and in the Old Town, as do a substantial number of fine late 18th- and early 19th-century houses. Today's Clapham is an area of varied housing, from the large Queen Anne-, Regency- and Georgian-era homes of the Old Town and Clapham Common, to the grids of Victorian housing in the Abbeville area. As in much of London, the area also includes social housing on estates dating from the 1930s and 1960s.

In the early 20th century, Clapham was seen as an ordinary commuter suburb, often cited as representing ordinary people: hence the familiar "man on the Clapham omnibus". By the 1980s, the area had undergone a further transformation, becoming the centre for the gentrification of most of the surrounding area. Clapham's relative proximity to traditionally expensive areas of central London led to an increase in the number of middle-class people living in Clapham. Today the area is generally an affluent place, although many of its professional residents live relatively close to significant pockets of social housing.

In 2026 Clapham has experienced significant levels of antisocial behaviour from masked youths which have been "fuelled by online trends."[16][17][18] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clapham

Tip for vistors to London:
when I was last in England, my son and I decided to jump on an 88 bus that runs all the way from Hampstead Heath, Parliament Hill, to Clapham Common. It goes through all the Central London sights, such as Whitehall - we even caught the Changing of the Guard - Tower Bridge etc., whilst eating crisps and drinking pop on the front seat at the top. We alighted in Clapham, a lovely area, quite typical of London, with Victorian houses, a high street and convivial pubs. The Common itself is great. All for a cheap bus fare.

Which has nothing to do with your mistake in thinking Clapham Junction was in Clapham and your flight of fancy as to what type of housing must be in Clapham because of the UK's busiest railway interchange being in Clapham. Your entire post was based on your mistake.

Tell me more about this "North Carolina Airport". And where in Tennessee, exactly?
Specifically, Williamson County,
did the usual sightseeing around Nashville, Hard Rock Cafe, Old Oprey, Country Hall of Fame, the 'Acropolis', the old Confederate hang outs, plantation houses/old slave quarters, Johnny Cash hangouts, Vanderbilt Uni, Jehovah's Witness skyscraper building, Jack Daniels brewery tour, restaurants serving huge plates of catfish, Cajun food, endless shopping malls. Beautiful area of great natural scenic beauty: hummingbirds and huge oaks. The Mexican restaurant I wanted to experience was nothing like the trendy ones in London. Thinking back now at how unexpectedly horrible the food was, with a group of about seven to nine Mexican amigos standing watching us, I wonder whether it was actually a front for something else. Picked up at the airport in Charlotte. Some funny things happened at the airport but that would be waaaay off topic.

But it is a classic example of Vixen's squirrel spotting.

Okay, so I got it wrong.

AI Overview

Clapham is mainly populated by affluent, middle-class young professionals, finance workers, and growing families.

How did you end up at a shopping mall in Alabama?

A memoir is exactly that, a person's own personal recollections and can include or exclude whatever they like. It is not like a biography whereby the author is expected to cross check facts via letters and public records. We've all read memoirs that are little more than self-serving apologistics for terrible behaviour (for example, Jeffrey Archer or Christine Keeler [or even the dreadful AK] ).
That has absolutely nothing to do with my point about him being a public figure.

Are you aware Arday was appointed by Cambridge in 2023?
And? They were still informed in 2023 that there were potential issues. They had the opportunity to do something before the situation spiralled out of their control. They chose to do nothing.

Sounds like quite the trip. Could've done without the casual racism, though. Why Cajun and Mexican? Why not barbecue or Nasvhille hot chicken? Doesn't seem like you had the best food guide.

As to the Alabama mall, was that in Huntsville? If so, you should've booked a tour to the space center. You could have learned a thing or two about the Apollo program.

Please specify the 'potential issues'. So here we are back at square one.
Academic fraud. Copying other people's work. You should know this by now. And no, it's not simply forgetting to correctly cite sources.
