Satellites in a geostationary orbit around Earth are going to be at most 11% closer to the moon than the Earth is. Why is 250,000 miles somehow a problematic distance but 225,000 miles from the moon to a geostationary satellite manageable?
Even worse, a geostationary satellite being used to receive and relay a signal to the side of the earth facing away from the moon is going to be as far away from the moon as the earth is, if not further away. I wonder if Vixen is capable of visualising and understanding why, or is willing to.
