Apollo 11 Moon Landing Revisited: Hoax ~vs~ Debunk

Jay you may have missed my question in all the numerous pages since I asked, but is the 50 sec number that Allen indicates it took the camera to take an image and roll the film for the next image?
No, it doesn’t take a Hasselbald 500/EL 50 seconds to reset the shutter and advance the film to the next frame. 1.5 seconds is more accurate.

The 50-second figure seems more consistent with the average elapsed time between when astronauts decided to take a picture. That’s not relevant to the mechanical properties of the camera.

Indeed, at this point it's just obvious [the practice than cannot be named].

I was lurkin' under bridges with a [practice] with no name
And the bridge kept me out of the rain
Under bridges, you can change your screen name
And tell other posters "Kill yourself" again and again

Lol lol lool lol lol lol lol..

If you don't understand the reasons for health & safety checks it's not for me to explain it further.
I wasn't asking about health and safety checks, I was asking why you brought up "people [you] know who worked with radioactive substances [and] went through decontamination procedures after every shift", and what point you were trying to make by bringing them up, in the context of this:
Yes, it does. The phenomenon you are alluding to here involves actual contamination (i.e., the radioactive materials actually sticking to you and continuing to irradiate you). That is what decontamination procedures mitigate.

Simply being exposed to radiation does not make one a radiation threat to others. Nor would decontamination procedures mitigate radiation damage already done by such exposure.
I never said it did. Stop twisting my words, it's incredibly boring.
What point were you trying to make by bringing them up?

Straw man. You are not being asked about general "health and safety checks." You are being asked why you think radiological decontamination procedures specifically should have been applied to the returning spaceship.

Indeed, it explains—to the informed reader—that the astronauts would be irradiated by several possible sources, but not contaminated.
For the umpty-ninth time, I quipped they'd be better off running a Geiger counter over the craft rather than spraying it with Dettol. A joke shouldn't need to be explained. If you don't get it, you don't get it. <shrug>
