Apollo 11 Moon Landing Revisited: Hoax ~vs~ Debunk

President Nixon claimed to have rung up the astronauts on the Moon direct from his White House telephone because he was too dim to realise there were no telephone wires on the Moon. Telephone all used to be by wires, remember. So a story had to be conjured up that er, his 'direct line to Apollo 11' went via bouncing around various radio stations instead. Well, it has plausible deniability.

AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

They didn't hop off onto the Moon down a step ladder, did they? They needed wheelchair back up and two aides to help them walk, on their return. One of the crew could barely lift his arm to wave. Compare and contrast to Apollo 11 fresh arrivals bounding down the helicopter steps into an area tv viewers were told led to 'a quarantine' tunnel, with hello, here's Tricky Dicky to have a few jovial words with the three (back in their space suits...? iirc) peering out of a quarantine window like zoo animals, when it was obviously a tv prop.

I am impressed by how much you can get wrong.

Still waiting for your responses to my earlier questions

Sure, he sounds very reassuring to the average viewer but then when you listen to him closely, he is just spouting platitudes - photos of shadows on pavement curbs, getting all jolly about reflectors and waving away the Moon's dangerous environment. He may or may not be correct but it's like watching a tv advert assuring one that your hands that do dishes grow as soft as your plate, etc... At least Allen and Weaver have applied logical thought to it, whether they are right or wrong because of course, it is impossible to prove a negative.
Again, your only strategy is to fake being knowledgeable by figuratively rolling your eyes and acting contemptuously dismissive of facts you don't really understand. You look, for example, at someone clearly demonstrating real life situations in which shadows behave exactly in ways in which your sources claim they can't, and you just cover your eyes and dismiss it as theatrically as you can, without ever addressing what it says about the claims you're repeating.

Since you seem to be fond of courtroom dramas, you're like a defense attorney complaining about a ballistics expert witness matching distinctive markings on a spent bullet and casing found at the crime scene to the defendant's own gun by saying that he's just "spouting platitudes". You keep trying to paint various environments as impossibly dangerous, but you never prove it. You even tried recently to claim that the lunar surface was too heavily bombarded by micrometeorites for them to have landed there, only to be shown the actual figures for the micrometeor flux by Jay, which shows how incredibly small the real risk was.

Are you really so stupid as to be unaware of radio links for telephony?
Until 1956 all transatlantic phone calls were carried by radio

On the point of shutter speed, she did confirm the correct facts after I demonstrated the physical behavior to her. She confirmed that it would take tens of seconds to expose stars on the Apollo film. But her brain bluescreened every time she was asked to apply that fact to claims made by conspiracy theorist Marcus Allen. Not only is she vastly deficient in her understanding of the facts, she's dishonest with the few facts she knows.
It's rather sad that it's easier for her to look foolish and ignorant than to admit the smallest mistake.

For example, we have the ISS in place for refuelling and docking.
The ISS has never been used as a refueling stop.
We have digital technology, computer and sateliite systems a million times more advanced and developed than in 1969. The entire Houston computer servers of 1969 are equivalent to the entire technology you now have in your smart phone. Calculators were as thick as a brick.
And? The guidance calculations were, once again, orbital calculations that any good engineer/mathematician could do with paper and pencil since Newton. The automation systems, like that aboard the IBM Instrumentation Ring atop the Saturn V were more than adequate to operate and guide the launch vehicle. An early precursor of the AGC successfully flew an aircraft across the United States with no pilot inputs or corrections. Your incredulity regarding technology you don't even understand is utterly irrelevant. And remember that this was the era of the Cold War. What technology do you think made it possible for an ICBM to be launched on one continent, and deliver its payload of horror to a city center on another continent?

Jesus Christ, the ignorance is astounding. What was it Dr. Adequate used to say?

By 1969 we already had communication satellites relaying television and voice communication around the world. Your 19th Century concept of telegraph lines is rather amusing. Mission Control was in communication with the Apollo crews, except for the CSM when it was behind the moon. Mission control was also connected to the very extensive telephone network. So why would it be so difficult for you to conceive of them being able to patch through a call from the White House into the voice communications loop? Seriously, I'd like an answer to that.

This is deliberate trolling now isn't it?

I mean, you haven't posted that as a serious comment?
