There are accusations that consultants with ties to Trump may have redirected people wanting to donate to America250 instead redirected them to Freedom 250.

Of course it is possible that Trump had nothing to do with the decision. (It might have been a legitimate ruling by FIFA that Trump is incorrectly taking credit for). We have seen him do the same thing before, such as when he took credit for Walmart reducing prices when he probably didn't have anything to do with their decision.

Of course, if he did play a part in getting the player reinstated for the next game, it sort of backfired.

The US lost the next game against Belgium anyways, and since the 'red card suspension' was supposedly only delayed and not cancelled, the player will have to sit out some future international game.
