Maybe somebody can explain to me, why, with it's long history of corruption, FIFA somehow continues to control International Soccer.

TO be honest some of the twitters and comments by CHevalier, one of the New York SOcial Democrats, is giving the GOP lots of ammunition.
They are pretty damn exterme. of course some people think there is no such things as extremism on the left.

Just because...

1) Of course left-wing extremism exists.
2) The related point that's usually made in response to those screaming about left wing extremism is that actual left-wing extremism has no real power in US politics, very limited sway even in the Democratic Party, and has not had such for a very long time, while right-wing extremism is dominant in the Republican Party and thus has significant power in US politics and this situation has been consistently getting worse. Further, those screaming about left wing extremism are often willfully ignoring or embracing right wing extremism, so their screaming about left-wing extremism can be safely concluded to be a dishonest and manipulative tactic.
3) The GOP has regularly chosen to remove important context or outright lied when they've screamed about one thing or another being extremist left-wing, so I'm generally not very trusting of their ability to be honest on the subject.
4) A general increase in left-wing extremism as a result of the excessive right-wing extremism would be entirely normal.

...when you think Dems learned from the last election, some extreme leftist extremists enters the chat.

I keep wondering if these kind of people/views are injected from the right as some kind of 'agent provocateur'. But even if that would the case, it still needs to find fertile ground.

And it fits right in with FIFA's constant stream of corrupt leadership
