Yes, they did spread objectively false information about it, and this easily confirmed with basic fact checking.
If you actually want to refute that SGU spread misinformation (rather than lying about it), I linked to the thread.
There is already a thread specifically about the misinformation spread by Novella on SGU, which I already linked to in my first post here. That is the place to discuss this. I already detailed all the evidence in the first post in the linked thread. I am not going to go over it all again in another thread. (You do understand that where the text is blue coloured this is a link you can click on, right?)What specific "objectively false information" did they spread? And can you back up that claim with evidence?
Perhaps we should continue this discussion over there in the pertinent thread.
.
Should the SGU take a sideline when one of its members engages in hate speech?I do not agree with Bernstein, but hate to see SGU require a particular political stance.
My understanding is that he wasn't "forced out".And somehow I think the people cheering this on would scream bloody murder if somebody were forced out due to left wing opinions.
He's ethnically and culturally Jewish American.I don't think Evan ever discussed his religion, but is he Jewish?
He wasn't. Steve was looking for a way forward, and Evan called him and told him that he had decided to resign. My understanding is that he wasn't "forced out".
I could say the same about a couple of people here when it comes to the Palestinian/Israeli issue. You are not a credible, impartial, or skeptical person on the issue of medical care or transgender rights, so your opinion on that matter is irrelevant.

Define Zionist. Another term that has a number of meaningsI'm sort of shocked to learn that Evan held such views. He didn't give off that sort of vibe to me.
TBH, I haven't been listening to the podcast as regularly as I used to, as I have more podcasts in my feed than I can get to. Although I still subscribe and sometimes get around to it.
I don't think Evan ever discussed his religion, but is he Jewish? And if so, a Zionist? That could explain it I suppose, but he never discussed that side of himself, or even hinted at it, on the show.
I think I heard him once on Cara's podcast saying that he was a Republican and they were talking about how it is nonetheless great that they can agree to disagree on politics.I'm sort of shocked to learn that Evan held such views. He didn't give off that sort of vibe to me.

I'm sure that there are many different ideologies and degrees of zealotry within Zionism, but I think we all know what it means in a general sense.Define Zionist. Another term that has a number of meanings
Yeah, Probably.I'm sure that there are many different ideologies and degrees of zealotry within Zionism, but I think we all know what it means in a general sense.
You can take it mean basically "Pro-Israel" (and pro-Israeli policies and collective actions) for this purpose.
