The behaviour of UK police officers.

We've got another cracker from Rob Warner. Here you'll see an ego driven idiot who goes full tyrant when a group of protestors turn up at the station to protest police inaction.

Inaction? Says one Sgt. Allum, I'll show you! And he sets about the protestors, decking one who was out on a public street. Turns out he's got a bit of a beef with her.

He's hard to watch as he displays a level of entitled smugness that is off the charts.

But the foregoing isn't really what this video is about, oh no. You see Allum arrests the decked protestor later (on charges subsequently dropped, colour me surprised) and confiscates her camera quoting made up laws, a common tactic in the UK. The camera is on though and he doesn't turn it off. It ends up in an evidence bag that is carried everywhere by another officer, I really do mean everywhere.. eugh!

If you really must, skip right to around the 11 min. mark to hear what kind of attitude to policing without fear or favour we have here in the UK.

What might be more interesting is the stuff that didn't make it to the video. Rob kindly provides some samples for you in the comments. You shouldn't skip these!

I don't have the time to watch this all the way through, and I certainly don't condone violence or incompetence by the police, but it does look as though the protestors are going out of their way to antagonise the police, and also appear to be some form of Freedom on the Land idiots. No, that doesn't mean that I think they deserve everything they get, but it's certainly a factor.

The protest was peaceful, didn't and wasn't intended to cause public disorder, property damage, or disruption to the life of the community. Allum trespassed them and used excessive force. He's a bully and a tyrant.

I did hear some sovcit bollocks at one point but that doesn't colour the events in any way, shape or form. Allums a ◊◊◊◊ and so are the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ arseholes he runs with.

This one is such a mess it's difficult to unpick but, don't worry, those of you who have already identified as attention deficit (funny how that deficit doesn't stop you having an unequivocal opinion though) it's under 9 mins long. I'm sure you all can take time out of your busy schedule to view the video in it's entirety, then give us your take.

Best I can do to work out what this is about.

Women is arrested for posting racist hateful messages sent to her. She's kept in a cell for 17 hours. She requests CCTV footage and is upset that it shows her using the facilities in her cell and you can see her fanny, the footage of said snatch is popular and has been down loaded multiple times. She now has a copy and the police don't like that fact and the possibility of them being exposed filming prisoners fannies.

Luckily, they (the police) are tasked with tracking her down following her having an episode of mental instability (hey, calm down silly girl we've only been looking at yer fanny).... Game on!

It's all a ◊◊◊◊-show from here on in. A roadside welfare check turns in to a 15 min pursuit. Stingers are deployed. Helicopters are summoned. Armed response crews dispatched. She's stopped and taken down... HARD! That vital CCTV footage that she had... is confiscated and never returned.

Again, she asks for a copy of the BWV of the latest arrest. "What BWV" is the gist of the response.

See if you can work it out from there, I'm done.

Now they're saying the sentence was too lenient.
Nothing short of hung, drawn and quartered would satisfy them, and then they'd complain the horses were Arabian!

The thing is if they did increase the length of sentences a lot more of their voters would be in prison come election time, it would be a home potting.

On this day in 1984, Greater Manchester Police withdraw 30 officers, including an inspector and 3 sergeants from picket lines in the Midlands.

The men were withdrawn following excessive drinking in local pubs and bullying of fellow officers in their shared accommodation.

This would be the guy that Reform Ltd supporters say wasn't being prosecuted because 'Woke'?
42 months for "head-butting a member of the public, and throwing 10 punches, two elbow strikes and one kick at the responding police officers." That's only 11 months more than the tariff for posting a hurty tweet, and he'll be out in half that

Its time judges starting handing down consequential sentences for this sort of thing - like 8 years/no parole

Maximum for the charges was 4 and a half.
Judges don't just make up sentences on the fly.
If the prosecution wanted a longer sentence they needed to charge with some different offence.

No doubt the accounts posting this footage are "far right". But leave aside the skin colours of the people involved and we have one (drunk) guy being hazed by a group. One member of the group flies at the victim and knocks him to the ground, then immediately runs off. As the victim gets up, a woman police officer elbows the attacking group out of the way, grabs the victim and slams him against a wall.

Warning. Lots of use of banned words in this video.

She hasn't identified herself as a police officer. She's wearing black, like some of the assailants, and although the word "Police" is on the back of her jacket I don't see anything on the front that clearly identifies her as a cop. She's wearing a policewoman's hat as she runs in, but it falls off as she grabs the victim. I doubt that the victim was in any position to see anything that might have indicated this was a police officer, even if he hadn't been moderately plastered.

The guy has just been knocked over by one assailant wearing black. Immediately, another assailant (of very similar build) wearing black grabs him and slams him against a wall. He takes a half-hearted drunken swing at her and misses. (In effect, he merely puts his arm around her neck, briefly and loosely.) As an onlooker points out, he almost certainly thought she was one of the group hazing him.

The other police officers pile in to support the first policewoman, allowing all the attackers to run off. The victim is arrested for assaulting a police officer.

Beyond the fact that the person arrested was the drunk and unresisting victim (bar that one ineffectual swing of the arm), the language used by all the police officers is absolutely foul. Completely shocking, but evidently that's their natural way of expressing themselves. The manhandling of the victim, pushing him into a car the wrong way round (facing the seat) all the while screaming obscenities at him, is absolutely out of control.

I really really wouldn't want this bunch of charmers responsible for law and order anywhere near me. But apparently the Birmingham police force think it's all just fine and dandy.

I imagine we'll soon be hearing how the police "reacted to the situation as they found it", "followed procedure", and "did nothing wrong".

Weird. The main problem for 'Joshua', responding to himself, appears to be:

I don't know exactly how the NZ system works, but if it's anything like ours I would expect sentence ranges to be set in laws, then subject to the guidance issued by the Sentencing Council with potential mitigating or aggravating factors taken into account.

Judges don't just make up sentences...
