Cont: UFOs: The Research, the Evidence

This doesn't sound like a great idea to me
Really? Because aircraft carrier crews have enough free time for a variety of activities, and all I'm suggesting it they post an in-house terminal where interested crew can play, "What the Hell is This?". Make a game out of it. With every UAP video release they're all identified within a week by random people, and within a month Mick West and others will have complex breakdowns of the objects, and how parallax plays a key roll.

I expect a few specialists who are trained and experienced at it would solve them faster.
And the problem there is those "experts" usually do not have free time. Even so, the Pentagon's UAP experts DID identify these things, but the UFO crowd rejected their findings. We see that crap here every day.

Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy. This will bring them out of the woodwork!!

Even less connection to reality than the "disclosures" to date.

Thank you Mr Spielberg.

PS. It's not a documentary folks. No. Really. IT'S NOT A DOCUMENTARY! Seriously.

:woo:woo:woo
It is a very good movie..best think cinematically SPeilber had done for a while, but it will start up the conspriacy crap again.
BTW it is a hit at the box office.

Just to throw my two cents in and get the hell out of here, y'all can make fun of UFO enthusiast if y'all want, but the only thing standing in the way of UFOs coming from another planet is the distance they would have to travel, and that's it.

Of course, if there is life on other planets, they might not have advanced as far up the evolution ladder as we have, but then again... they might be a couple hundred years ahead of us in space travel. Just think where we'll be in two hundred years.

TBH, there just might be an X-Files kind of explanation behind everything, but what I really find interesting are the Men in Black stories.

True or not, they certainly are the definition of weird, but as always, this is all just my opinion.

And as always, your mileage may vary of course

The distance is the big problem. We've explored our own solar system fairly well and there doesn't seem to be anyone else here. Certainly no advanced lifeforms that we can find. It's still possible that we might find microbes somewhere, but not little green men or the like. In that case, if the aliens have to come from farther away (another star system) the sheer distance becomes a huge problem, and probably not something we will be able to overcome with another 200 years of advancement. It may even be such a problem that no society, no matter how intelligent or advanced in science and technology will be able to overcome. That is my opinion. Predicting the future is, of course, not easy or likely to be accurate.

It's now nearly 80 years since Roswell and there's still not a shred of actual evidence of alien visitors.
That's because the Evil Deep State is hiding the evidence from We the People because . . .

. . . because. Umm. exactly why is the DS hiding it from us?

Is this not the biggest mystery of them all? Should we not have been preparing for the invasion for the last 80 years? How long will this take?

Let;s just say I disagree with him. He really has it in for Speilberg.
And I am sure i think a lot of movies he likes are Meh.
He's a reviewer. All reviewers give their opinions. Terry's opinions are, in my estimation, well thought through and informed.

But that is one hell of a big "Thing".........

I watched the program 'Universe' with Brian Cox and he said we have now discovered over 2600 planets in our galaxy, and even one in another galaxy. His conclusion was that there are most likely billions of planets in our Galaxy alone. He said that many of them would not be inhabitable but that still leaves a large number that might be the right distance from their sun to have liquid water. He said that it has taken four billion years for our species to evolve on this planet so civilizations on other planets would require an equally long time of stability to evolve.
But out of billions of planets it seems quiet probable there are other advanced worlds.

As for time they may have been around for millions of years longer than us and could be so advanced we cannot imagine. And with regards to the distance they might have developed worm hole technology, or some other way of bending space, so that they can quickly travel enormous distances. As for making themselves known to us they might have rules of non interference like those in the program star trek. They may be watching and waiting for us to grow up instead of behaving like savages killing each other in wars as we do now.

Yes, this is an uncontested fact.

And this has been the common speculation for decades, but unproven and as yet untestable. Conjecture for why we don't have evidence is not evidence.

Do you understand the difference between claims that have been substantiated by observable, testable facts and claims that are basically just, "It might be the case that..." ?
