Translation: Our short victorious war to increase our popularity is not working out as intended.
Trump never really had any inhibitions about just saying crap. They open their mouth and words fall out, it's a surprise to everyone all the time.He just says exactly what he thinks now, all inhibitions, such as they were, are gone.
It remains to be seen exactly how much the war will accomplish, but there's room for optimism on that front as well.
Do you think Iran is winning?Just checking in to laugh at how poorly this terrible-out-of-the-gate take is aging.
I think the USA is making themselves look like incompetent imbeciles. There will be no winners, only various aspects of loss.Do you think Iran is winning?
Not necessarily but the USA certainly looks to be losingDo you think Iran is winning?
What's your metric? Not necessarily but the USA certainly looks to be losing
Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan?What's your metric?
Do you even understand my question? Because your response isn't an answer.Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan?
You asked by what metric the US appeared to be losing. And once again the US seems to have gone in, assumed that bombing a country and destroying its infrastructure will make them capitulate quickly and then 'win'Do you even understand my question? Because your response isn't an answer.
I did. Your post isn't an answer. You asked by what metric the US appeared to be losing.
Gone in?And once again the US seems to have gone in
It is different. Our goals and methods are different. Our enemy's goals and methods are different. One obvious example (but far from the only difference) is that we don't have boots on the ground. Those differences don't mean that we will win, but they do mean that you need to examine this conflict on its own terms, not on the terms of past conflicts with very different dynamics. But sure, maybe this time will be different.
Haven't you been listening to Trump? The USA has "won" every two days since this nowar began. And they will continue to "win" far into the future. The simplistic win or lose viewpoint is all Trump sycophants can understand. They have no real concept of what actually happened in the countries you named. You asked by what metric the US appeared to be losing. And once again the US seems to have gone in, assumed that bombing a country and destroying its infrastructure will make them capitulate quickly and then 'win'
And once again it seems to be sinking into a quagmire that is going to massive damage to the country they attacked with the end result being an even more hostile nation for no actual gain.
But sure, maybe this time will be different.
What goals?I did. Your post isn't an answer.
Gone in?
We aren't in Iran.

So what's the metric? You haven't said. You cannot substitute the metric from a different conflict for this one.
Constant claims of victory but an inability to follow it through and actually winWhat's your metric?
Donald doesn't know what the war is for or how to get out of it.I did. Your post isn't an answer.

We seem to have a deal with Venezuela. Is there ever a deal?
Yes, if you don't actually win, then you didn't win. That's a circular definition of winning. Got a non-circular metric?Constant claims of victory but an inability to follow it through and actually win
