The US military has carried out strikes on Iran, targeting a military site in Bandar Abbas, a strategic port city.

In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had targeted a US air base, without providing details of its location.

The answer is that Poland would be a target for Russia (I hesitate to use the word "legitimate" because nothing about what Russia is doing in Ukraine is legitimate) but it won't attack Poland because it doesn't have the resources to sustain war against the defensive alliance of which Poland is a member.
