Federal prosecutors have dropped charges with prejudice against the "Broadview 6", a group arrested for protesting outside an ICE facility in Chicago.
Seems the Grand Jury indictment was more than a little bit problematic. As the judge put it "I have read hundreds, if not thousands, of grand jury transcripts involving prosecutors who are the most junior of prosecutors to several U.S. Attorneys who appeared before the grand jury. I have never seen the types of prosecutorial behavior before a grand jury that I saw in those transcripts."
Apparently a lot of the charges made against the protestors had been dropped over the past few months as they were obviously untenable.
The best people, everyone.

All charges dismissed against "Broadview Six," defense says grand jury transcript revealed "gross misconduct"
Federal prosecutors have dismissed all charges against the four remaining members of the so-called "Broadview Six," a group of protesters who were arrested outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview last fall.
