Why Are the Majority of Those in Hell the Poor and Oppressed Masses?

It's a test. (evaluation)

1 Corinthians 3:12-15 NIV
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

You still gotta bridge that gap crossing the River of But Why Believe Tho? 'Tis a big river.
I'm on the other side inviting you to join me.
If that's enough, I don't know what to tell you.

If it was irrefutable, it wouldn't require faith.
No risk, no reward.

I think the real issue is that no one wants to be known as a Christian.
I get it.

Not helpful. What Jesus was alleged to say isn't packing anymore evidentiary punch that what Apollo was alleged to say.

1 Hour of Muslims Accepting Christ — You Won’t Believe These Stories

I don't expect anyone to watch this. The title is enough.

Have you ever tried the Kool-aid?
In fact, yes. In my teen years some (many) years ago I was involved with Christian youth groups and attended and worked at several bible camps. You may have heard of Young Life. I have seen both sides if the coin and am quite content with the fact that gods, of any description, do not exist.

The one that sent you packing?

No big issue. Just a realization that the concept of gods and their supposed abilities did not make sense. I remain open to be convinced, by actual tangible evidence, that there is some credence to the concept but compelling evidence is lacking. And any attempt to introduce "faith" without evidence is a non-starter.

Have you ever tried the Kool-aid?
Yep, full on believer, speaking in tongues, leading classes, was even entering divinity school because I wanted to know more.

Then I realized the voice that called me to God was the same voice that was driving me to kill myself, my own. I spent the better part of a decade looking for solace in Christianity of all flavors, then other faiths, then more secular philosophies; until the only conclusion that could be reached is that it is ALL made up by humans, just us. No external influences required, for good or ill.

It's amazing what happens when you can be introspective enough to examine not just your thoughts but your deeply held beliefs honestly.

It's not that. It's that a lot of us, at one time or another, thought "what is the difference between all this religion jazz being real, or just a bunch of kidding ourselves with a song and dance routine followed by passing around a collection plate?"

And some of us said "nothing at all".
