Supporters of Wes Streeting expect the health secretary to challenge Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership as soon as tomorrow.

The BBC has spoken to two leading supporters of the health secretary who are confident that he will trigger a leadership election tomorrow, as well as others who say they would be disappointed if Streeting backed away from a challenge at this point.

A supporter of Streeting says that if the health secretary does not challenge Starmer then "we'll have knifed ourselves for nothing".

Actually he hasn't quit at all, he's still a Minister.

After the meeting Starmer says he has "full confidence" in Health Secretary Wes Streeting, according to the prime minister's official spokesperson.

Speaking at a briefing for journalists following the King's Speech, Starmer's spokesperson says "the prime minister has full confidence in the health secretary".

The persecution of Nigel Farage re a £5 million personal donation is outrageous. Had the British state provided adequate PROTECTION he'd not need to personally fund highly complex security. It speaks volumes - even after 2 MPs assassinated - Farage had to go it alone.

In other news, on our travels I have found plenty of places that the member for Innsmouth and his cronies can take one of those JCB pothole machines they were raving about and sort out some roads.

FFS, most of the places we've been, bar Ynys Mon, have made Northumberland look good in this respect, which it isn't, just a bit less bad thtan many other places.
